Description : A little homage to our home in the universe
Jynxz: concept / loops / synths
Micky: drum-/bass programming / guitars / synths / samples / vocals
Ear candy ... Wayne, you're just too kind! Our hearts soar into heights like hawks. I initially thought the idea of starting a project that was all about space funk would get on everyone's nerves after a while, but it seems to be going quite well. So: as long as the universe is black, the shooting stars are flying and the stars are twinkling ... we're in!
Thank you so much for listening again...always appreciated.
Well done lads! This sounds spacey as h*ll and I'm here for it. I wasn't entirely sure what would be meant by using the descriptor 'psychedelic' but now that I'm listening, it's completely appropriate. Your styles also compliment each other very well. Keep doing stuff together!
Hi Cam, oh yeah, you know, about the genre names... we (and I think a lot of others too) always have the same problem with that descriptor: you never totally fit into anything. We could have chosen "Fusion" but I hate that term...to me it always suggests a style of music I really don't want to be associated with. Then it's more "Psychedelic" ... that fits better and is far more authentic (at least in relation to me).
Thank you for listening and for your nice review,
Micky (also on behalf of Jynxz)
This is STELLAR! work here but then your productions are always filled with so much upliftment, love your vocals also very nice! indeed this is real! music sweet and positive! vibes all day long. Bravo!
How nice that you checked us out again. I (Micky) can only thank you again and again for the extremely encouraging encouragement you have given me here from the start. I hope that we can all learn from each other here for a long time to come and that we can depict our inner worlds here. Nice to know you belong!
Thanks for listening and your kind words,
Peace (also on behalf of Jynxz)
All your hats... how many do you have? ;) Thanks alot.
Yeah sometimes I feel like we're trying to fit as many styles in as we can... LOL
We're glad you enjoyed it and we look forward to seeing you again...
Peace from Neandertal and Myrtle Beach,
Micky (also on behalf of Jynxz)
Well, I probably wouldn't say that we're earth-sick... it's more like the pull of the vastness....which we just can't resist. Thank God we have such excellent navigation and we always find our way back in the end. Although the propellant on this vehicle was pretty strong during the outro ...
Thank you for your visit and the encouraging comment!
Cheers,
Micky (also on behalf of Jynxz)
Hey guys this is an epic production.
Hey Micky that guitar is a killer with your voice of course.
Great track my friends.
Well done to both of you.
Maj
Hey Maj, nice that you could check it out and leave this encouraging comment. And I always get very excited when my guitar work is noticed, because I think there's a little guitarist in me who is happy about something like that, hehe.
We're glad you enjoyed the track!
Best regards and see you soon,
mickey
Hello Mickey. I don't think I need to say much. Everyone else before me has done it. Clean work, good selection and use of the instruments. I especially like the percussions. Very varied well mixed and mastered jazzy song! Great! Greetings Manuela
Hello Manu, we are very happy that you liked it. As for me (Micky) I'm always very unsure before I release a track. Then it's always great when our colleagues here, like you, give us feedback and confirmation. Thank you for listening and your kind words,
greetings to MG,
M & R
Hi Rita, thank you for your compliments, always welcome! Don't you find it kind of strange that there are so few female artists here? That should change!
Best regards over there...
Micky
great work as always lads, fab mix and production, love all the percs and background work never a dull moment in it, Mickey your vocal is always on point always a good listen boys
Hello my namesake...you probably know that my name is also Michael, but since my wife, my friends and even my dog call me Micky, I adopted it as my stage name. Glad you liked the track. Thanks for the encouraging words. We will stay tuned..
Micky/Jynxz! This is swinging and so smooth. @1:44 and 3:20 changes are epic. Guitar, acoustic bass, drums, and synth work is simply amazing. Awesome listen throughout. Faved beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Hi Mark, it's great to hear you enjoyed it. Believe me, if my mother tongue were English, I could certainly express my joy in a much more vivid way. For me (and I'm pretty sure for Robbie too) you are a musical capacity, if I may use this antiquated term, and in this respect it is always particularly exciting to hear your judgment. I don't know about Robbie, but personally I'm always so unsure if a track we make can be enjoyed by other people or if it's totally for the bin. That's why it's a blessing that you can try it out at Looperman. So again, thank you
Micky (on behalf of Robbie)
Very cool and uplifting ... more than uplifting ... Im soaring into the heavens, great arrangement, wonderful percs and instrumental breaks and flourishes, seamless transitions and lovely sound production too (to my ears as usual some zappa-esque hints) :)
Glad you checked in, Ian. We want nothing more than to entertain the listener and of course we are always very happy when someone enjoys our tracks. Music is a self-rewarding thing, but when other people like what you do, it's simply the most beautiful thing. In this respect: Thanks for listening and the kind words. Oh, and if it always kind of reminds you of Zappa, that's probably because one of us here is the Chrome Dinette... yeah
Micky (on behalf of Robbie/JYNXZ).
Description : OK, I finally managed to find a song name, so here it is. But the genre is still open. WTF is it? World? Trip? Trance? Rock? psychedelic? .
I started this song with the wahwah background track, I think I wanted to go in the triphop direction but when I played with it and tried out things I added some Tabla sounds from the available sound library of the cubase software to it, just to get a feel for it. It sounded right somehow, and so it developed from there. As before, we did the work on wikiloops band section: bhunt1 (Brian) on Bass added his track, and rp3drums (Raymond) on drums (one straight drum track, and one para-diddle track). I then added several more guitar tracks.
So I would be happy to listen to your comments and advice, and if I get a good suggestion for name and genre I will change it. Cheers, TG :D
Description : My actual track for X-mas. Too late again, as usual... But now just with a few days only instead months. :D It's enough stodgy, need some mood for enjoy, that's sure. Dunno where to put it. Fusion? Cinematic? Weird? Trash? :)

Description : Break up song of sorts lol. Vox, guitars and keys by Zootman. Beats and bass free Loopmasters demo. Words are (mostly) what I thought Damo Suzuki was singing on One More Night by Can. Instrumental or stems avail if anyone wants to play with it.
Description : Full Moon energy blasted through me big time. This track encompasses all those emotions about feeling lunarly de-railed. The lyric 'can't do it, won't do it' reflects the desire to step away from the norm, due to overwhelm.
The scream speaks for itself!
Please feel free to download from kayos2.bandcamp.com if you want to support our work. Many thanks, Oli&Kay
Description : Sung by me - bbrossas track for background
Saw this track on looperman and I had to make something. Please feel free to let me know what you think.
Open to suggestions. Thanks all :) I hope you enjoy!
Description : Psychedelic, Eastern, dark dance/jazz/fusion based around my cello playing plus minimal other instrumentation. Two sections of electric guitar, one of Fender Rhodes, one synth pad, some swirling female vocal samples and one sub synth bass. Apart from multiple drum loops and programmed acoustic drumkits, everything else is cello, including most of the weird sounds.
Description : Another mission in the vastness of the universe. "We don't know where, but we were there".
Jynxz: synths, fxs
Micky: production, guitar, fxs
Description : Everyone seems to be using acapella recently. I ran across some "spoken word" that was inspiring so... That's what this is. I don't know if it would still be considered "acapella". most of the drums are Laurentwirz my fav drummer on LM
PEACE...
Description : sup! decided to make some cyberpunk songs, I dunno why. This one turned out awesome though! It sounds exactly as I wanted :D
Anyways,
I´ve used an acapella for the intro:
Wayne
