really good work Wayne love that extra grittyness in your vocal, the punk edge this carries is great, love a bit of Uk punk myself, the guitar for me was standout and along with the vocal are the two things that make this track what it is Real Punk Rock. i can imagine you singing this live in the pub bottles and ashtrays being thrown at you ducking and diving on the stage and tell the crowd to go F#ck themselves, great work mate i like a lot
oh shit! peripatetic punk! this is crazy good, ah the lead is some guitaring man. RIP t verlane. i know the singer, he blew town to get off the wagon. a heartwrenching tale of a sleazebag, so i guess it came down to country or surf — i’m riding wave with all the shit i own in a cardboard box. seriously delirious stuff and there can’t be enough of it!
Now here is somebody who understands what I am trying to do here. You've been keen to my musical intentions over the past years, I can't fool you. ha!
I had the guitar sound and how I wanted to play it in my head for a week before I even started the song or picked up the guitar. Then it went together like it wrote itself.
Very frightening but good start *smile. Uncompromising rock, which unfortunately is rarely heard these days. Almost a bit of live character. You really got to the core of rock or better yet, soul of rock with this song. I wish I could live on a stage! Dear size Manuela
This music goes over like a fart in a space suit here but someone has to post this fun, cool stuff and it's me.
The character in this song is probably the same character in my punk song People In My Way, one of the last songs in my playlist that I posted a dozen years ago or so. Same angry, confused, bitter man but worth listening to, for at least a chuckle, ha!
Woohooo! from the outset this grabbed my attention and man! that voice! of yours is just exuding some serious power!...everything about the track rocks, btw love the lyrics as usual they always make you think. Once again FAB! Work! Indeed. Bravo! Fave for me.
I went so extra gritty with my vocals I kept throwing out my voice after every couple lines. Had to cut back a bit so I could actually finish the song.
Gritty and original Wayne style!
Btw I notice you do something I also do too often; your lead guitar (which is you) interrupts and sort of contradicts your singing (also you). Often it's worth it to see if you can do either/or, so there's more space both for your guitar and your vocal.
See if that works for you?
On every song I consider editing any of my instruments to accommodate the vocals. Been there, done that, a million times. But the song dictated to me to let the guitars rip. Nothing interferes with the vocals that I can hear and I can understand every word clearly in the song. Also the guitars are panned very wide, 35/50.
And I did give the lead guitar a break for the listener, between 1:30 and 1:33, lol. And that's all I intended giving the listener!! I'm not a guitar player, I'm someone who can play the guitar, there's a difference. I'm proud of the guitar, it's fitting I think and the sloppiness of it and cool gritty sound with a few stingers was too good to cut, it needed to be there, in my opinion.
But I do honestly appreciate the positive feedback. Thanks for stopping by!

Really love your vocal performance and that funky snaking guitar (the lead and rhythm are both great)
