At first, the bass reminded me of Nirvana's Incestide album. But the track as a whole stays underground 90s alt and garage rock in feel for me, the stuff I grew up on. I always enjoy what I hear from u man. Thanks for sharing your work, it's unique - especially unique today
This has a great booming bass and the guitar is a roaring sensation too. Everything in this track works so well together, talk about RAD! I like this musical journey and the vocals were worth waiting for nice surprise! & as always your vocals seal the deal as someone said maybe vbring the vocals in a little earlier but you decided to do it your way and the whole track still rocks!...Kudos!
Thanks a lot, always like your enthusiasm! Yeah I'll probably keep working on it, try and come up with a vocal of some sort. I think I know where the vocals should go now. Thanks as always....
I think you have structured this quite well to be honest i like the bass nice in heavy took a while for the vox to kick in maybe have that a bit earlier as well good track chris :)
First let me tell you how much I love it: I love it very much :) It's very dark, and all the instruments seem to fit exactly where they are right now, which is a great achievement!
Now I do have to tell you the title reminds me of a silly joke of Hugh Dennis on Mock The Week. "Things you wouldn't hear on a science program" "They call it dark matter. Well, whatever it is, I can't seem to flush it."
Yours doesn't need flushing, it's great stuff!
Funny enough we're having problems with the dunny right now, calling the plumber in the morning! Must be too much dark matter. Cheers man. Gonna have another listen to your track now. My first listens were at the pool with the kids and too much noise!
It shines already but I believe it needs vocals to get brighter. I actually thought of male vocals. The rest of the song is ready and very well crafted.
Best regards, Anthony
Yeah I think it does need it. Will come back to it I'm sure when inspiration strikes. It's funny, years ago I loved writing poems and lyrics etc. I had exercise books full of them. But now I seen to struggle... Cheers Zoor
hey nice track again, love the guitar tracks. My 2 cents just because you asked for it :) I can hear 3 parts, maybe the 1st part could be reduced or split to have more 1-2-3 successive various sections during the track, plus a melody would be great (voice, keys, guitar ?). Well I know listening and commenting is definitely the easy part of the job!! and btw no problem with vintage sounds that's all I like.
Thanks man, yep I've been thinking along the same lines I think. Unfortunately I have a backlog of about three tracks awaiting lyrical and vocal inspiration! But this is encouraging and I'm sure I'll get to it sometime. Thanks for the listen and comment.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Description : In the 1700's the Comanche Indians became known as the Lords of the Southern Plains. The Comanche ruled a region that stretched across New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and deep into the Texas Panhandle. The most feared and savage warriors of all the tribes of the old West.
Many believe their spirits still ride the night wind here.
Some Willie G style picking to a buffalo skin drum beat.
