Has a very primal and introspective feel to this one as if going back to our roots as cave men and women. We must not forget our roots where the true music began. Best regards The Frenz

Thanks for the listen. That idea came to me after watching a documentary on ARTE covering archaeologists unearthing proof of human existence further back in time as previously known. "why is that hand bigger then mine" relates to the mythical bigger humans long long time ago.
Thanks for the listen and glad you like it. Yes, a bit creepy, could have bin even creepier but held myself back not to drawn the track with sounds. After posting I thought that I could have added some extra "movement" echo's like steps, falling peddels and rocks in the back flooded with echo... but then you never done and never finalise a track :-)
Alright, I absolutely love the crows in here. Coincidentally, I'm working on a track of my own that has crows in it. Something weird, I've lived in this town for 5 years and in that time, I have not seen a single crow. Not one. What kind of curse must be on this place to where even crows won't tread?
Okay, back to the song. This is an absolutely brilliant concept! I think it's something we can all relate to as well. The damned alarm clock, man. I love the way you worked in the alarm without making it completely obvious. For the whole thing I kept thinking, "what is it? What is the sound?? Are we going to find out??" Then there it was. Again, brilliant my friend.
Do take care.

Hi V, In the song there are crows and a finch, I recorded the finch and the stones myself, the finch was in a tree behind my house, a crow flew by, but it was not good enough. I need to record the sound of the crow population in my neighborhood in the near future, there is a place where every night a few hundred crows of different species gather to sleep in the trees. I need to get a field recorder first.
Thanks for the compliment, it's nice to see that my crazy ideas sometimes work out well :-)
Regards.
To call this piece a mere song would be doing it a great disservice. For me, its an epic! Dramatic, dark, mysterious. The music carries this incredible narrative. The lyrics excel in two aspects: describing the traversal of a location and, on the other hand, questioning what one sees within their own imagination. Wonderfully done! Hats off. For me, this musical work ranks among the absolute finest Ive ever heard here! This is music, this is an epic, this is art! Best regards, Manuela.
Hi Manuela, thanks for the compliments, the idea for different lyrics on "Dark times ahead" came from Pnnywze, then during sunbathing I came up with the idea of the cave, the alarm clock came later, i was fun to create.
Off topic: My comment on "Love Love" was indeed a compliment :-)
haha het eerste wat ik dacht...hey maar deze ken ik al.
Tot ik je discription las...ok duidelijk.
Ik vind the vocals echt zo cool...ik zal deze niet verpesten lol.
ohhhh sad end
Description : Feel free to check out the video on YT as well (Alan McLaren Project - Upside Down) of this 6min journey from electronic to rock with some psychedelic moments...
This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
