Description : Another Looperman collab. This one features Gio Green and Hannah Beaven from the DNA. Art Club. It was a quick one but I really had fun working on their vocals. This platform has a lot of talented people.

Hello TrippleN97, just checked out your track and thoroughly enjoyed the great vocals here, they were all outstanding and backed by a nice music arrangement.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep it in mind and aim to shorten it in future tracks. The effect is sidechained to activate when the vocals are quiet and cut out when they come in, but I may have set it a bit too high for some ears, making it easy to miss.
I truly appreciate your insight and adviceit's given me something valuable to think about as I approach my next productions. Cheers!
Im a little bit smoother than my brother when it comes to songs in this genre lol. Hes got me trying to practice putting more melodic elements into my vocals so I can improve my singing, Im gonna try and sing a little bit on my solo project. I imagine songs like this one would be perfect for that. Good work man
Oh...I didn't know you sang as well. You guys are a whole package I can tell. I agree with your brother that it requires getting out of your comfort zone to enhance your skills. Trying to sing in at least two octaves in all twelve keys can be good practice and trying out songs that progress upwards with a few riffs too. If you're into this typa thang this track can be helpful for sure along with some Ty Dolla Sign, Bryson Tiller, Jacquees...
I'm glad you felt the sound man and I appreciate the positive feedback on it.
All the best on your singing journey. Cheers!
This is not at all my preferred genre, but it doesn't have to be for me to recognize talent.
I am curious though, in general, with the instrumentation of your tracks, (this one and others), do you use a lot of loops, or do you create all of your own (or play) from scratch, or maybe even a little bit of both?
What you've built around the vocals is very well put together. Not only in instrument choices, but the timing and even the effects you used. The wind, although primarily in the background, is absolutely a binding ribbon that makes the entire piece. It's one of those things where you don't notice it at first, but if it wasn't there, you'd definitely miss it and the track just wouldn't be as full.
Excellent work, man. Keep it up.
Take care.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedbackit means a lot, especially knowing this isnt your usual genre.
As for your question: I create most of my own loops, but if I find a loop that genuinely enhances the track, Ill use it. For chord progressions and building around the acapellas, I rely on my understanding of keys and some piano knowledge I picked up playing in church. Its been a valuable foundation, and I always work to improve it.
Im glad you noticed the reverbits those subtle touches that help tie everything together and elevate the overall sound.
Thanks again for your support! Its inspiring to hear such encouraging words.
I appreciate the love big time. I heard your recent beat too and I knew we shared an appreciation for trapsoul. I'm glad the music resonated with you as well
Hello, As others have already mentioned, absolutely amazing work. Youve created a wonderfully supportive musical foundation for the vocals. Such a beautiful arrangement!
Best regards, Manuela
Hi Manuela, thank you so much for the kind words! It really means a lot to hear such thoughtful feedback. Im glad the musical foundation resonated with you and supported the vocals the way I envisioned. Truly appreciate you taking the time to share this!

Thanks, man! When I was mixing, I worried overmixing might hurt the vocal quality. The chords had a bit of a vintage feel, so I thought leaving the vocals rawespecially Hannah'swould keep that natural vibe. For Gio, I do agree that a little autotune couldve worked well with no problems since hes got that Ty Dolla $ign kind of vibe.
I appreciate your ear and your thoughts on this one. I can tell you gave it a detailed listen
Thanks a lot, bro. I'm glad you felt the mix too. I always try to let the vocals shine and flow naturally with the track, so hearing this really makes my day. Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughtsit keeps me inspired! thanks again
Dude, the truth is Ive always had trouble connecting with old school Vibe R&Bish type stuff - BUT this is twice now that youve held my attention all the way through a track. On top of that, look at u representing the community bny featuring the community!! good shit man. You have the right idea on how to grow as an artist. To ever say we have learned all there is to learn is the day we become foolish, u know what i mean? I learn everyday from people im grateful to connect with, and Iearn from their music. Especially when its not my genre, so to speak. Anyway, Im glad to see some of the same qualities in u, man. Good work on this one.
Wow, man, that really means a lot! I respect that youre open to stepping outside your usual vibe and giving my tracks a shot. I think featuring and learning from the community is such a huge part of growingnot just as an artist, but as a person too. Im honored that you see some of those same qualities in me. Its inspiring to hear how you approach music with an open mind, especially when its not your usual genre. Thanks for the support and for sharing your journeyits connections like this that make it all worth it!
