Hi Rita, I did not do much, just tweak a little bit.
The extra voices is you, I took 4 copies of your vocal for the chorus parts.
Each copy received some treatment to have slightly different timbre and timings like it was sang by someone else.
==TECHNICAL=START=
Reaper has stretch markers to compress/stretch parts of an audio item. So I stretched/compressed each copy on multiple points in the audio a little bit to have slightly different timings for each voice, then pitched up 1 octave and corrected the formant (avoid mickey mouse voice) so each voice sounds a little bit different, and different to your original)
==TECHNICAL=END=
Normally you would have a real choir. But you can simulate that yourself by singing multiple extra takes for the chorus ("choir") like you do for the background voice, now just more takes (separate recordings/audio files), and in this case preferably 1 octave higher to eliminate the need to pitch.
==TECHNICAL=START=
Put each "choir" take in a separate track in your DAW, match all roughly to your you main vocal so they sound like a "choir", then spread the voices by changing the PAN for each "choir" voice, you get width in the sound. If possible group them or send the output to a bus, put some reverb on the "choir" and take the "choir" volume down, the main vocal should virtually stand in front of the audience, the "choir" in the back accompanying the main vocalist, adjust to your taste.
==TECHNICAL=END=
The guitar part was a VST (NI Kontakt, lib Kontakt, Rock Guitar) with an automation on volume to fade the guitar sound in and out.
As mentioned before, I loved your original track and just had to "play" with it :-)
Dankje Frans.
Hello Mom, that's not quite right! You handled your voice really well in this song. What Franz achieved was to bring your voice into the spotlight through his fantastic musical sensitivity and his experience in mixing and mastering. He placed you more at the center of the action, and he did that brilliantly! But you are the one who sang. It is and remains your voice. And don't make the mistake of treating your voice like an instrument. The tones of your voice need to remain flexible; they don't always have to hit the exact point. But the variable use of your voicesometimes just before the beat, sometimes slightly behind, and sometimes exactly on ithelps shape the mood of a song. The rest is taken care of by the technique. I just want to say, with this song you did everything right as a singer. You created a wonderful, heartfelt ballad with your voice. Franz then gave the song its final polish. Congratulations on this work!
Yours, your little one
Thank you for your kind words.
It is also good to hear that my singing can sometimes be a bit before or after the beat.
I know that it can make a big difference how it sounds on the beat. My son used to say that sometimes I didn't sing exactly on the beat.
With certain music it works and with others it doesn't. In addition, I think that as a rapper on rap beats he is more used to rapping exactly on the beat.
Regarding Frans' qualities.
Of course he has a lot of experience and probably also more interest in the technical part and im not.
But secretly I am a bit proud of myself.
55 years old when I started teaching myself how to make beats.
59 years old when I started singing starting with 1 word to whole songs now lol
Thanks little one
He did a fantastic job, a wonderful blend! The song is almost ready for radio. Adding 10-15 more seconds, maybe repeating the chorus in a slightly modified form as a 'Grand Finale,' and you'll have written a hit! Best regards, Manuela.
Thanx little one. Yes Frenz didd a great job. He didd tell me how but its algebra for me lol.
Im happy that i can sing a littlebit and thats it. I know i need to learn how to master my voice like this but pffffff
Beautifully done. Cool lyrics and I say again, I love the timbre of your voice. Ha, predictive text tried to change timbre to timber... That would have been weird lol.
Hey Chris
Thank you so much.
I needed to translate the meaning of Timbre and timber so lets keep it timbre lol
But you know it can be timber...i love parfume with a timber smell (and neroli )so if my voice sounds a little like that its also ok
Hello RitajustRita, very much enjoyed this blues ballad, love the guitar....and the overall deep haunting feel of the track about being a loner......good stuff once again.
Hello Mom, a beautiful bluesy and also rocky ballad! Wonderfully sung! Even the second voice in the background is amazing. I think with this song, you have once again taken a very big step in the right direction. Your voice is absolutely destined for songs like this. Wonderful! Lots of love, your little one.
Hi little one.
Thank you so much for your compliment!!
I just wish i could make music like this..then i would be really proud on myself.
Have a nice sunday ,love from mom Rita

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

Description : 'Nowhere to go'. It could mean many things simultaneously. Is it a feeling of despair or is it devotion, is it both? Have a pleasant listen. I really do not know what's the genre that fits best to this song. I'll ask your opinion on this. The main sequencing was done in zenbeats by Roland.
