Shame I was the last one to review this track. I suck at reviews, and try not to spazz too much on the stuff I find just blowing my mind. Seeing the facebook posting about his passing this song came to mind quick. I have this song on another internal drive, but pulled out that drive a few months ago. This was the only place I could think had the song. Site was down, I couldn't come pay my respects and give a final thanks. So with a smile, Thanks Jah.
I hope others find joy in your music as I did. Rest In Peace amigo.
I had listened to this track a long time ago. Didn't review then, just spaced out to it. Then I came across a video of Messian Dread doing a in studio jam. The name was very familiar but couldn't remember from where. Now it all comes back. This one awesome tune. The bass and perc's just make it real chill. The keys sound kinda like a clavinet but have a real good vibe. Those verb and delayed keys are a beautiful touch of music and engineering. Just hit at the right time and expand out naturally. Can't say much more to convey how great this sounds. Cheers for this great tune. :)
I have been listening 2 dub reggae ever since I went 2 my cousins apartment in Amsterdam in 1992,I was 22 and we smoked de big spliff listening 2 THE SCIENTIST 1979-82 SPACE INVADERS---DUB LANDING. That stuff 2 this day gives me happy memories of my experimental youth.
Great track , but I need your help, Ive been making music for 11 yrs, and i know this sounds dumb but.... what makes a track "DUB"? I have no idea on what makes a track go in the "DUB" genre, so hit me back, great track and keep rockin'!

Dub is a musical description for a tune that has been 'effected' n a way that creates large spaces, open spaces in between notes and often uses elements from many genres to create one piece of music.
Traditionally dubs were the B side release of a reggae 7" single where the vocals have been removed and the producer has used an array of delays, reverbs and other effects to stamp a song with their 'style'. Those B sides were often more popular thatn the A side single because it allowed an MC to spit out some lyrics in the dancehall party.
