Description : Melancholy Mourning was a track that I had sitting collecting dust for a while. It's about not having a chance to say goodbye..
The mustang drum kicks are sick..and the vocals and melody works like magic. Hope you enjoy it.
Vocals provided by Shannon "shannonsongs" Hurley"....from her tracks "Silence " and "Life is Strange"...

Sad statement about the site (double edged sword maybe?) - 300825 current members, and I only discover this song a year after it's been posted.
This is very, very cool work. The contrast between the glitchiness and the vocals is really surprising, and works incredibly well. I think it reflects the title somehow - the scattered and fragmented thoughts accompanying mourning. But it carries a kind of sonic optimism too, doesn't it? Amazing.
Thanks for the ear mate. I'm glad that you dig it. More so.. love that you get it. In mourning, ones environment is fractured. Slow is the process of "picking up the pieces". Sometimes though..the pieces don't fit... you never get over it but only get through it by making the pieces fit. Not having the chance for closure only complicates everything and makes the process even harder to deal with. What's missing though is a better mix and master on this one. I did plan on working on it... but decided against it. It's better left as one of those moments.
Thanks John for the words. As far as adding vocals....a song is never really completed...just abandoned..lol
The only plans I have for this track is a better mix and master. If you have some ideas for some vocals..I'd love to hear.
This is a beautiful track. The title had me very curious. The vocals r beautiful, and the sounds are amazing. I really enjoyed listening to this, definately going on favs.
Wow, everything really managed to come together. It was like some kind of hallucinogenic costume party, and I loved it. Great, great vocals, and an equally awesome beat. Really no advice on this one, keep up the good work.
Great work here Avonaco, the beats, arpeggio style synth and atmospheric sounds all compliment the superb vocals, great overall production and love the underground style. downloaded and faved.thanks.
Very cool effects on the voice, awesome lead about halfway in.
I was a little turned off by the sound of the backwards whateverthehellitwas in the beginning, but it turned out to mix will with the rest of the song. Well done man. Well done indeed.
amazing track, very different from what i was expecting from an rnb track. temperamentally i am a Melancholic so i was drawn to the title. i guess it depicts the character of melancholics. nice title and composition.
Very nice track, I think that I fell in love with the singer for a moment. Just the vocals themselves I find very intoxicating. The instrumentation is very simple and the synth sounds quite nice. But that vocal is just sweetness, love her voice. great work.

Description : R&B track inspired by Brody Brown's work on Bruno Mars' new album. Brown would be entirely unimpressed by this track, of course. He's a really fine musician. I've left the electric piano lines that are meant for vocal parts in the track. If ever I found a lyricist and and singer that could do something with this track, I'd produce a backing track version without those parts. Lots of room for a good singer to build on the melody ideas and make it their own.
