Description : This is a remix(re of some kind more or less) for 'A Drowning' by How To Destroy Angels. I'll say I'm kinda hesitant to put it up. It's got some great sounds and new ideas, but I felt it was...not fully fleshed out in the end. Not to say it I don't like it. I've listened to it for the past two weeks before putting it up here. It's also not a quick remix. Nothing against anyone that does that. I'm just slow lol. In all seriousness, it was quit a bit of work. I can go on and on about how I set up all my instruments, the methods I used to make some string sections, etc.. The most I can say is, the first verse is more thought out than the second(only two in it). The bridge passage is from the original. That bridge really p*ssed me off. In the end I had to use the original tracks version. I'm not thrilled with it, but lack of creativity hits and its a punch in the face back to reality. The second verse is pretty back to form as the original. Not complex but felt like it put it back in place I guess. Then an outro that pretty much tails off. Most of what took the longest was the mix(s). Over and Over and Over... Headphones, Monitor, Ipod, CD... Just a constant "this still sounds like sh*t" mentality. It probably still does sound like sh*t in all honesty. I'm my worst critic lol. I'm ranting now. Anyway, this isn't the final. I put it here to receive some critic and maybe another pair of fresh ears response. This isn't mastered. Just mixed. I don't think making it all compressed and loud is going to help. It's also going up in Orchestral cause it's kinda orchestral maybe? Idk.
Track Detail:
All sequenced in Reason 4. Mostly all Orkestor patches put into splits and sub mixes. As always with stings the lovely Touch Orchestra Patch.
Thanks for your time and reviews. Cheers :D

If you have time take a listen and give MCHN some feedback.
Maybe some slight , slight spacey sound, I like the idea of some in and out percs, An occasional hit here and there then maybe some full time ones as song the progresses, back to a little and then none.(reverbed crashes2).Dude, I've listened to it 3 times. Now I'm obsessing not only over mine, but yours too! lol. This track is awesome as is,(so far??). It's funny, I was just thinking yesterday how I find there's always something that can be added. Glad I'm not alone. At any rate, I've been a huge fan of your loops, (and now your tracks) from a distance for quite awhile. Back to when I was just practicing quietly and not getting involved here. Thanks. rick
Thanks for the review. Yea this isn't finished yet. The in and out perc is where I'm heading. Kinda had to listen to some big orchestral and classical pieces to get my head around that style of perc. It's not a full on rhythm but more to add to the moment. I have a decent sample set lined up so I should be jumping back to this again soon. Yea man track never feel finished for all of us. I haven't reached a limit with putting stuff into tracks but more of just not being able to mix it in altogether. Learning day by day lol. Also thanks for checkin the loops. Always cool to hear some feedback on them. Cheers and thanks again :D
What the f8ck? 115 listens and only 1 review?!?
That is just ...
I am ashamed.
Ok... to be honest.. this sounds amazing.
It's giving me chills... ...
Some thoughts?
....
Umnnnn
I am kinda floored lol. Try.. if you layer.. I do this with vocals in studio's and with rappers, but making 3 tracks, and trying to split channels left right and then a center.
But ... with just one type of string, you can get into crappy phase areas.
...
It's amazing man.
I am shocked you haven't gotten a ton of reviews and downloads.
:/
Thanks again man. This is still a wip track as I'm still trying to get some percussion in there. I added some other layers with more verb to distance it out. Theres also alot of newer techniques I've been picking up for orchestral stuff as far as panning and verb placement. On some of the violin(s), minus the solo one in the first verse, they are layered out hard l and r, and then another 2 set about +/- 30. I think my sub mixes are off alot actually so it maybe kinda pointless to have so much. There are somethings that do phase here and there. I think on the update I will move it to Records mixer as it has way more features to mix and counter that stuff. Also the vocals might get a better mix. Theres slight distortion on them here and there lol. Thanks again for the review Cheers :D
Some very nice string work man, I see what you mean about layering it up a little tho. Even if it's just meant to be orchestral could do with some kind of a percussive element in there to mix things up. Maybe the odd triangle, snare roll or two and a timpani? That's what I'd do anyway man, come check out one of mine when you get a chance fam. Keep them coming, looking forward to a finished ver of this, lots of potential.
EDIT: You're welcome man anytime, it's a good track. Come check out one or two of mine when you get a chance fam.
Thanks for the listen and review. I agree with the perc. The original perc I had on this one is just muted as it became obvious using a drum machine wasn't gonna work. Still putting together a sound bank to compliment the track more. Will update as soon as I get a good perc track in. Thanks for the review man, means alot considering I kinda hid the track away and all. Cheers :D

Description : This song was one of the first ones I uploaded here to Looperman. I made this over a year ago, how quickly time flies :') A free download has been made available as my gift to you guys for Christmas this year! Enjoy!
Description : This track is the first two sections of what will (hopefully) be a three-part piece — essentially a suite. I am posting parts 1 and 2 because I think they are ready for feedback from Looperman members. Part 3 isn’t done yet because it requires Human League style vocals from a singer with a distinct British accent. I have the melody and lyrics worked out. I sent a private message a while ago to a Looperman member who I think has the right voice for the job. But, haven’t had a response. Until I find a vocalist for it, I can’t finish the piece. In any case, the total file size of the complete piece would be greater than the Looperman limit, so it will have to be split into parts anyway.
Parts 1 and 2, in fact the whole thing, were inspired by acapellas posted here on Looperman by Jacques Demers:
If you haven’t checked out Jacques’ tracks yet, you really should. He doesn’t set them up as “featured” so it might be easy to miss them.
The harmony in Jacques’ acapellas sounded very “Beatle-ish” to me, and that made me want to try my hand at doing a George Martin style treatment. I remembered that ScottsCovers here on Looperman had mentioned an instrument called a Mellotron, which was used by the Beatles, the Moody Blues, Genesis, along with other groups of that era, so I decided to use a VST mellotron as the primary instrument for Parts 1 and 2.
The acapella in Part 2 was in a different key than the one used for Part 1, so I needed to find a chord progression in Part 1 that would modulate the key. Jacques gave me some advice on that, which you can see in the comments on his first acapella.
Part 1 has harp, mellotron flutes, clarinet, french horns, and my attempt at a Penny Lane type trumpet solo (but much simpler). Part 2 has a string ensemble, solo oboe and trumpet in unison, and some Daniel Langois type processed guitars. Both parts were recorded at 60 bpm, largely because that’s where the acapellas seemed to sync best. However, I played the instrument tracks freestyle (rubato), so the tempo actually varies somewhat. Definitely not quantized!
There is a storyline behind this track. Part 1 is the blooming stage of a relationship. Part 2 is about the relationship in decline. Part 3, with vocals, will be about ending it.
I’ve included the transition to Part 3 (which will be a more traditional synth pop section) and just a bit of the first verse backing instrumental so you can get an idea of how things are headed in the final part.
Description : I promise a suprise for non-members once I reach 100 plays, now they can DOWNLOAD it FOR FREE. The only condition are these three simple rules: 01. This songs is like a normal day in my life... as my brain point of view. The first part is the morning with strings, horns, clarinette and flute. It's a joyful and beautiful day ! Then, there's a sort of "bridge" between the morning part and the afternoon. Afternoon is awesome and chaotic at the same time, that's why I added dubstep in the middle of the song. Finally, the evening and the night are the second bridge and the end of this piece.
It's the first song I mix Orchestral and Dubstep.
Whole s music maker Jam with Movie Score 1/2/3 and Dubstep (i think it's Vol.2) loops.
Mix = Music Maker (Soundtrack Edition)
Final details = Music Studio
It's a Raw Mix because I really like this song and I want to make a better version ONLY with Music Maker Jam (without mix or whatever, execept for the sound quality).
Description : I created this track for the love I have for puppies. I love them. Everybody does. This day I went to this park nearby my colony and saw couple of them and thought of making something musically. So this is what i came up with. This time I haven't played much with FX or Technical aspects. Just pure simple & soft melodies. As it is unmixed & unfinished track, request you to boost the volume a little. Hope you all like it! Cheers! :)
Description : Nothing religious for me in creating this concept and my message Musical.
I just tried to adapt music once again, for the harmonious voice of Michael Webb ....
Description : Violin Bow Factory is a remix of Rainbow Factory by WoodenToaster wich is a NightCore track. The story behind Rainbow factory is pretty dark so I invite you the check the original version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRx_iXgLAyw
All parts of the story written and inspired by a dream. A very personal story. I can't sing,so the emotions are in the notes. This is the instrumental version. The sheet music was written for a group.
The Expanse is the beginning, a journey into the unknown, a risk.
If you want the 4 part story names, check the song lyrics tab.
Description : First one I posted on here not too long ago when I tried this out. Would love to dabble more with this type for sure as I love the orchestral/cinematic tracks I find on here! Great loops I found by MINOR2GO that I threw together. I just added the bass drum and slight fx here and there. I would consider this cinematic as well. Thanks!
