The intro is fabulous! The song could easily go as a soundtrack in a movie, maybe something like CSI since you added the percussive elements as well.

I like the strange percussion, well not strange but wet (effected) and the vocals really make it memorable. Very well put together and arranged. The changes is mood are awesome.

Great job!

Thanyou very much…. it was a bit of a shot in the dark, as my voice was really not recovered from a bout of flu. I love the idea of it being a soundtrack..I appreciate your positivity and thank you for your time.

Wow, this is so cool! Love the scifi theme to it! Great synths and beats! Superb mixing! You've got skills! Whoa the vocals are awesome! Is that your voice? Cool! I'd fave this if it was still an option!

Thanks again for the great comments, yep thats my voice, broken and battered. In case you didn't see my answer to your question about my name, yep! the shrieks were a huge influence on my career so I thought it only fitting to keep their memory alive.

Since i've been enjoying your posts i thought i'd come over and check out your tunage.
This is great. The mix clarity is all on point. Love the vocal and i can't pick fault with it at all.
Did you get that vocal from here? It's not one i've come across before.
Anyway, downloads kind of speak for themselves so have another one on me.
Thanks,
FR

This is bloody brilliant mate. Nice to see someone taking a different approach to the rap genre. The vocals remind me a little of massive attack and the musics a bit left fieldy (two bands i rate very highly)
So you see, It's worth going off on a random one sometimes. It gets people to check out your stuff.
What a track for my first of the day.

how do you do it track after track?

man is this refreshing. I was totally into it, and at 1:24 VOCALS! it was great the way the tracks interplay with each other. it was minimalist without missing anything. this is the type of song I could listen to over and over..
Peace..

Great great track. The backing track and those vocals (mmmm) rushing headlong together... If this track doesn't grab you... well...

fantastic. She has this great Bjork/Annie Lennox/Crabberries lilting delivery.. just phenomenal. I love the minimalistic approach here. The way it's arranged, it could easily be more Celtic or even kettle drums and such, like on Bjork's "human Behaviour". I preferred your approach. The only word to really describe this sound is "Liquid".

if this is electro, I need to listen to more Electro.

cheers for that man, i'm really pleased it hit the mark. I couldn't think what the hell to classify it as cos there is no category for funky chilled electro ambience. i love the liquid term tho!

way to jump right in! I hate a four minute intro. everything blended so well. If I was to dare criticize such a great track, I personally would have liked to hear the vocal panning a bit different. Bring the solo portion of Bradsucks closer to center, and there's wonderful harmonies of Ascension, which might benefit from doubling and wide-panning.

everything was so crisp! Masterfully arranged, and even at 5+ Mins. it never got boring..
Thanks for the Lesson..
The Goose.

Thankyou Goose, much appreciated! I take on board the panning issues...Tried it centered but they tended to cancel eachother out, so will try to shift their frequencies a bit. good idea about ascensions vox though...I'm still learning after all these years.Lol.

Glad to be the first to review this. You both did an outstanding job on this man! Her vocals are very tight! I like the beat you put behind her, the sub bass line sometimes seems a little distracting... might be a key thing, but this is very well put together and I see what you wanted to do with this, and I get it! Freakin awesome job Fam!

Jamscience replied Unknown
Thanx for the positive review man, I'm so glad it seemed to work! I agree the subs a bit strong and will re-upload when I've taken it down a notch or two. Mixed it through duff speakers...Doh! thanx again for the feedback.

this is a good song & a good collaboration. the actual sound of the synths & loops could be better according to my particular taste, i think the song is worth redoing or remixing sometime with some different sounds. i enjoy the song though, with a good vocal.

Groovy track! This song reminds me a bit of David Bowie, especially with those creepy vocal effects. Your description of the song reminds me of my life... oh well. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!
