ok, first of all i'd like to say thank you for the feedback, i agree with half of what you said, maybe it isn't trance like, however you must bare in mind that i am a hardcore producer and this was more of a one off to se how it goes,
enough of that, i could say exactly the same near enough about you production however it seems to be a lot more "basic" i don't mean to drop a bomb on you or hate on you, however the production on your tracks could be a whole lot better, i think first of all you need to get yourself some sample packs, as i've said to many people on this site today VEC Vengeance Essential Clubbers sample packs are the way forward, they are awesome sounding percussion sample packs and cheap too, just by listening to your track i can tell exactly what basic samples you used from FL,, the 4 that are already loaded up into the step sequencer are pathetic drums to use, i'm sorry but anybody with any music knowledge will agree with me, fruity loops all together is a good starting point but the audio engine is a tad bad,
also i think you may need to either invest in a new computer or set up your preferences correctly, YOUR CPU CAN'T PROCESS A TINY BIT OF INFORMATION CREATED BY YOUR SEQUENCER, seriously the crackling in your tracks is either because your buffer rate is set too small or your computer is a fossil, try downloading ASIO 4 ALL, then go into audio set up and select that as your primary driver, then check the buffer rate, if your buffer is set small it will have a quicker response to external equipment such as midi keyboard and controllers, if it is set high, you will not get the same crackle BUT you WILL receive "latency" (DELAY) therefor your external equipment being declared useless,
i suggest buying a better computer all together, making sure you have a reasonable processing power, half decent RAM, and a sound card/audio interface of a reasonable standard to go with it, then my friend you will be more capable of producing a track.
Play 2 now...
Yeah, I can see what Toxic's sayin about the old skool vibe.
I also dig how the bass on this gives it a nice, dark quality. And the way you've got the synth soundin all hovery is keen too!
Oh, and I dunno if it's just me, but @ around 1:01 there're a few crackle sounds comin out. Dunno if that's intentional or not though. Just wanted to point it out if they weren't. Thanks for sharing. Later on!
Track has movement but overall needs some work, try not to put out a track until it is finished, be patient! take your time and always try to put out the best work possible!
This is sounding more like old chool trance
very minimal,but still enjoyable
the only think missing is a bassline of somesort
I think you did a good job for not making music for a
while
Great job
and great effort
very uplifting track with great sounds and great ideas...I like this alot because it sounds very different than alot of the tracks in this type of style that I've heard so far...really nice vibes!
thanks for sharing your track!
Hmm, interesting intro mate. Those FX sound so familiar (shrugs). Anyways, if it were me behind the station I'd add some effects to the first kick loops to give a kinda blended fade-in kinda feel, ya know. I'm thinkin that the bass is dead on with this. And the synths kinda remind me of space klaxons for some odd reason or another. Decent length too, though if ya ever rework this ya might wanna throw some variation into it somewhere (say, starting around the 3-3:30 mark). Later on!
thats good trance track....i liked your stile...try to listen mine....lovly darck trrance...heheheh. its a drifrnt stile of yours but .... . huuuuummmm. . . take your opinion....keep the good work...
Wow not my type of style at all but i gotta give you props for this track its fire i woulnt be surprised to hear it at clubs haha keep up the good work
I really like the song, aside from the siren, but then I've got post traumatic stress... lol. This really sounds very 90's to me, which I can't complain about. Thanks for sharing!
