What a track...chill out in it's best...guitar tone is like in the air...breathing song with huge voice (a bit James Blunt, not the voice, the whole song)...Outstanding...
All the best, Danke
It's really great what you have done here .... Who Sings?
I like this concept "Ballade" .... with harmony employed. You're a good songwriter, and I'm glad to have crossed your path here ....
Congratulations ....
Hello VickyDan,
Thank you so much for your review of my track.
I sang the vocals myself, layering about 5 takes together to give my voice some depth.
I've only made a few vocal tracks and they tend to be at times when I want to express an emotion or emotions that I have experienced, such as the song 'Memories' and 'Feelings'
both written about past experiences.
I have spent an enjoyable hour or so listening to your tracks and I must say you produce lovely pieces of music.
Very impressive with the drums and the various melodies. One thing that kept me listening was that to me, started out like some sort of medieval battle then slowly morphed into some high priest sacrifice parade surrounding an altar in some jungle and near the end it could have been a delightful " we found Han Solo's arm to be reattached" soundtrack for one of the starwars movie. I really liked and it shows you have put lots of thoughts and efforts covering all bases. Executed very well. Deafdude
It looks like I shall have to upgrade my top 5 list of favorite Looperman artists...it is unthinkable to throw someone out, so I shall have cram you in somewhere ... that may not make sense to have 6 in a top 5 but it does to me. Great work dude !
I liked Sparta so much, I thought I'd have a look around at your other tracks - I am not disappointed. There is a terrific flavour that you have applied. The guitar track adds a touch of an unexpected element, a wondrous salting. I'll stop here - I'm running out of adjectives and there are more to listen to - well done my lad !
hello rugby rotherham calling! LOL yeah nice track ive used some of the magix sounds myself, i too like to make my own beats and then combine them, nice track keep em flowing all the best D. :0)
you had me interested right away when you said you have to try other things, I think stepping out of a comfort zone is always good for an artist, very lush production, the percussions are stellar, great groove just drives the track, great keyboards sound very ambient melody, loved the whole package, my only comment if feel like you rushed the end, you could have taken us out more gently breaking everything down but to just the beat, but I'm kind of obsessed with endings (I hate fade outs, lol), but thats just me. Still a great production.
Biiiig sound, I like! Enveloping... I like the fact that the melody is not predictable, but simple(in a good way). I was expecting a different type of track, but was pleasantly surprised!
This is a really unique style! I like the sound of that string ensemble. This isn't usually what I think of as Drum and Bass, but it has a lot of creative merit. Nice drum beats!
Yeah man, lovin' the heavy thump you have going with this. The piano is soo cool, it's got a powerful cinematic vibe that I like. The synth work makes it drift in a dreamy good way. Great ambient track that has a powerdrive to it... very cool! I fav'ed it.
Hi deepspace
Enjoyed your track mate I think I could just sit and listen and listen and listen to this track.
I dont know if the little bit of horn sound and the sorta trancey synth fits the track that well, but I can see where you are coming from and why you have added them at those points in the track.
Nice One

you have killer tracks man, i get a really modern depeche mode feel from this one, especially is the off sections where the guitar takes the focal point, now what i have to ask is where did you find your loops ive been looking for loops like the orchestra loops you have used. good job man
Thanks for the review, glad you liked it.
I got the loops from magix sound pool 15 dvd collection, heres the web page. http://www.magix.com/uk/sound-essentials/
contains 6,000 loops samples etc.Hope this helps.
kinda reminds me of division bell era gilmour, i like it man, would have been sweet with a guitar solo, i know it takes away from the nice simple and relaxing idea but at the same time i can just see a solo going well
Hi Deep, I like this song! It's honest... Nice lyrics and melodies, ( I like the vocals! Gerry Rafferty). I feel your guitar work should come forward in the mix a bit. You are playing some nice lines man...
