Played base semi pro from somewhere in the late 60s to 1976, then took the plunge to full time until 1980. I played in rock bands, show bands, top forty bands, retro bands, studio, house bands, throw together for one night bands, and one Italian wedding band ( dont laugh - thats where I learned how to sing and play at the same time ). Toured Quebec,Ontario, New England..etc. Lived out of a suitcase. I left the business for various reasons. But eventualy I felt something calling me and I wanted a Herculean challenge....I found it alright - I learned and played bagpipes from 1995 till 2000. I taught it in my last year
I recently heard the call again and discovered Magix and then Reason...

First influence was celtic - live, every Saturday night as I grew up, performed by family and friends - great Irish environment, fist fights were rare thankfully.
Started playing rock in local Montreal bars when I was 16 in late 60s early 70s ..and of late - the Looperman community.
