Nice track Crypt! I can definitely hear the horror tone and think this one work very good for a horror running scene. When a character is running away and a man with an axe is chasing them. Good job!
Thanks mildperil! Sounds like a great idea. I unfortunately don't know any Death Metal vocalists and I am more in the mid-high range for vocals so it's not possible. But thanks for the suggestion all the same. :) Glad you enjoyed the song.
Nice sinister sounding groove here Crypt. Some pretty awesome variations and electro elements. I kinda wish there was a key change somewhere but its cool as is. I can picture this cranking high Db's at a Vampire rave!
this eighties flashback makes me remember how this period was full of creativity! it was a real pleasure to listen your track and on my mind, this instrumental version is pretty good like that. I don't think it needs vocals
Thanks man, happy to hear that you dig it. At this point I think you're right about the vocals. I think I'll leave it as is. Thanks for stopping by Bleep!
Hey, this has a pretty decent vintage vibe to it! Maybe a depeche mode or old front 242 vibe I'm hearing. I had a bit of a laugh when reading your reply - "I want to keep it "pure" with using only vst's for this song." My impression was akin to calling crack cocaine "pure," or even the common food on the store's shelves. I did, however, understand your meaning... one of limiting oneself and staying within those confines, so I can not be overly critical. I like the song a lot! Maybe vocals are the real missing link here, as it could give the song a deeper structure. Not everyone wants to be involved in vocal emphasis though. As such, it would fit in really well in a film. That is meant as a compliment, as a good soundtrack can really make or break a movie. Enjoyed listening!
lol! Yeah typing that made me feel a bit dirty...Glad you understood what I meant though. I'm still short a mixer so recording my gear is not an option. :( Vocals could work. I just need to be able to write some meaningful lyrics. If I can come up with something good I'll give the vocals idea a shot. Thanks for listening Spivkurl!
I'm liking this! It's a very experimental touch on electro music. I have to agree with BLEEP on the industrial atmosphere also. It reminds me of a warehouse!
If you want, feel free to take a listen to some of my older tracks. 'Codera' is an electro track I wrote that got a lot of hype on here and other platforms. Feel free to take inspiration in any way :)
This is really good. music to race cars with. love the dark feel. I agree w/ danke. some vocals would enhance it nicely. some oohs or ahh voc. I hate it when there is a missing element feel and you can't put your finger on it. It is good as is but I suggest some back ground vocals.
Thanks for listening mindhiest! I'll give that a try. And yeah it's annoying to be almost finished a song. It happens though. :P I'm sure that the suggestions you guys gave me will help. Thanks again!
Thanks man. The chorus is the part that I think is lacking something. Not sure about adding guitar to it though. I want to keep it "pure" with using only vst's for this song. I'll keep experimenting though and take your suggestion into consideration. Thanks again Danke!
Yo, this is really 80's stuff.
I am a child of the 80's but i never was a friend of this mostly main stream sound back in that days. But with getting older i start to look more friendly on music from that days and you really got everything it need to bring people into this special feeling.
Very well done and if you found a singer you will have something really great!!
Thanks a lot for your words Joe! I've always liked the style but generally I make more..."evil" sounding music. I wanted to do something outside of my usual sound and figured this would be a nice challenge to my writing.
Yeah buddy, this is cool and hardcore! Maybe not my usual industrial listening, but not far off either. Does have a bit of old skinny puppy vibe maybe. Very cool percussion and synthesis! The vocals are pretty wicked too! I've been getting back into distorted vocal parts as well... it's just fun. Thanks for sharing this! Fave!
Thanks man! Vocal effects are my life! It's so fun to hear what you can create using different effect combinations. This was the last song I wrote before calling it quits with my old singer. I had 4 or 5 songs ready to be worked on but things fell apart. I wish this one had been a little better mixed but I've since lost the files. Thanks again for the fav and comment!
Hey, Crypt. Greetings from Ottawa! :) Loved the track. Definitely had an 80's pop feel to it. I agree with Swindla. It did remind me of Cabaret Voltare, one of my favourites.
I can't sing at all, so would be no help on the vocals, but I agree it would be a good backing track for that. You definitely have nailed the bass and drum parts. Very nicely done.
I agree you could have mastered it a bit louder, but I just turned up the volume and it sounded great on my headphones.
Thanks for checking this song out Eric! I was in an Industrial band called Kunkokt. I have a few of the songs on here still if you want to check them out. This track here is just a one off kind of song. My plan is to pretty much continue the same style as my old band but with hopefully more eager and trustworthy people. Thanks again man!
Hey, this is very killer stuff! Believably eighties influenced to my ears! I hear a bit of Jan Hammer, and a bit of Depeche Mode going on, but with your own flair. Definitely not what I expected to hear when I visited your page, but it is a pleasant surprise. Noticed your recent hardware acquisitions on your profile... are they featured here at all? I like the volume on this, as it seems read for a vocalist to do their thing before a final mix. I have another collab that I've been putting off, otherwise I would try my hand at vocals... though if you're willing to be patient, maybe it will happen. Thanks for sharing this cool song with us! Fave!
Thanks man! And that would be cool. I'm in no hurry. :) As for my new hardware. This song is all Fl Studio. To make a long story short, I had an band that was active from 2012-2015. Things fell apart between us and due to the fact that I'm not a social person we parted ways. We played a few shows and had some fans but in the end I felt misunderstood by the local scene so I decided to sell all of my gear. At the time I had an Alesis Micron, Novation Ultranova, and an Alesis Multimix 8 mixer. Only recently have I started to rebuild. I don't have a mixer at the moment so I can't record my new gear but that will change soon. But yes I have another...(my third one) Alesis Micron, an Alesis Dm-Lite electronic kit and I just got my Blofeld (Keyboard Version) this week! Next on the list is a mixer so you will hear all of my new gear in the near future. :)If you want to hear my Dm-Lite kit in action check out the song "Lust For Blood" on my page. Thanks again for stopping by!
This track sounded alot like cabaret voltare from back in the 80's....awesome track. Maybe give it some volume so it can be properly heard? way too quiet dude is the only thing wrong with this....good job otherwise, cant wait to see where you go from here...
peace

Just fixed the volume issue. The last song I uploaded got some flack for being too loud so I was trying not to do that again but clearly I went from one extreme to another. lol. Thanks for pointing it out and thanks for listening. :)
I turned this track on and then went to look for new games on steam. First thing that crawled into my mind: This would be perfect soundtrack for old school platformer with space/future theme.

You say it may be missing something, and personally, I would have really liked to have heard some rough deep vocals on the track.
Overall though, I still really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
