wow! that's very creative of you man. and thanks for letting us listen to some of your good work. i like it. and please listen to some of my work too and tell me what you think. nice one bro
Thanks for the comment, sorry for taking some time in answer (je 2 y), that was my first song in reason what I liked about that program was its acoustic sounds, you could make the change in the rex player giving some variety, but in the end I think you need the real instruments played by people who always give freshness of the innovation either performed live or recorded.
nice smooth track realy like it an great vocals from the great stina it sounds like!
Great vocals and timeing of!
Good choice of tital!
P s do u know how to get vocals in beat on cubase as i have trouble with this?...or any tips with getting my vocals in beat
Im not to fa-miler with all that facetube as one friend suggested.
Hi there, respect to the vocals usually i leave them at last, I made the first music, in this project the vocals were recorded at 135 bpm and I edit it in a project done at 87,994, I worked vocals on two programs but in this i used FL studio 9 very easy handle wavs or mp3 for edition or you can use an other editing software but the best technique is listening and synchronizing, cutting into pieces and then fit it, well thanks for listening, see ya!.
At 15:00 second or so the other sound comes in like hi-hats or something. I don't know about you but for me it just jumps two levels up. I mean there's a beat, than bassline, than something more linked to hi-hats and than hi-hats, give a try like that rather than add hi-hats stright away. Or perhaps it's just that our style to produce music are different ^^ Maybe you should Compress the kick? Make it more punchy?
Anyways, what software you used ? And did you made your own samples or you used already made ones? How about melody?
You are right, in the case of this production I was experimenting in Reason 3 and FlStudio together, it was the six song i belive made in that software without a music keyboard just the mouse. {maybe that's the reason of the square type and the lack of melodic construction}. In the building I usually go to the specific patterns contained in the program and try to edit to change a little, the truth is hard for me to build a varied rhythmic patterns, without the proper equipment or banks of sounds at least, that's something I have to learn, and I try to use what I have on hand. I'm working on that my friend.
What can I say - you've produced a track with some really cool ideas and variations. The mamba beats give the song a tribal feel while the FM arps and pads maintain a kinda goa-ish link to the overall theme. Perhaps the mastering could have been tweaked a little in a few places, if anything than give you extra attention: If you reduced the resonance or q factor from the main lead synth and/or used a greater depth of reverb space you'd get a fantastic trippy feel while letting the other elements breathe more. Just a thought really as others may not feel the same about this. Good track anyway. Greetz, --Davey--
Being a huge Depeche Mode fan,I couldn't help listening and reviewing that track. The mix sounds really clean and you remained really faithful to the DM feel while adding a personal touch
Good work

I also am a fan of DM, it was a small tribute to a great band, I grew up with this music they are my favorite man, I'm glad you enjoyed it really!, thanks.
well im not sure why noone is reviewing you tracks but thats how it goes untill you prove yourself on here i guess...dont get discouraged bro..this has a hell of a beat man..love it. keep up the good work man
I really liked this track. The atmosphere you created is great and worked well...very well with the percussion and synths. The only thing that I thought could use some tweaking was the levels. But like Estefano says..."you do a track to what you feel, if others here like as is well that is all the better, but you can not please all". Good job....and thanks for the download.
I am not that well equiped to comment on the techno sound and/or application, notwithstanding, I liked your track. It has some really good elements. A bit of attention and it would be blazing.
