Seems like you really felt this one out. Its a solid vibe, steady progression of the forum. Great arrangement, quality mix. Little bit of Pink Floyd thrown in there. Seems like you are tooling around with some instruments at your disposal... Awesome!
I feel like I just achieved absolute CLARITY. I'm looking in on myself from outside my body. That was awesome. I love lo-fi! Favorited. Excellent track.
Kia ora, thanks so much for that wonderful comment. I remember listening to and liking other tracks of yours as well as your most recent on here. I look forward to hearing some more. Regards, Zoot.
Hey mate - that came up beautifully the extra percs and keys are a treat too - and glad to hear my crazy nighttime experimenting added as much texture too : )
Thanks Ian, that thing you provided was absolutely perfect. And Micky's additions too. Hope you're good, I had a day in the bush today in rain and 6 degrees the high lol.
Hello. This song has an improvised quality common to free jazz musicians in stage sessions. Well done. Cool rhythm and very balanced composition. I like it! Kind regards, Manuela
Hi Manuela, thanks a lot. I'd already come up with the rough chord progression while noodling around on my acoustic guitar, but the recording of the two guitar tracks were both done in one take with the structure basically as you hear it. The extended breaks between guitar parts was me pausing to decide what to play next lol. But I ran with that structure because I liked it. So kind of improvised. The main beat is a LM one, I still need to get around to crediting the maker (my bad).
great work Chris, nice to here fresh from you. the guitar melody is charming and the drum track is cool. like the glitchy work Ian provided, how is he? not heard much from him in a while and yeah your wife's laugh is great too, nice work mate
i listened to this yesterday but i was in the batcave and tinternet is poop out there. sounds clear as day i like the guitar quite dreamy, oh in the missus has a nice laugh lol. Till the next one.
Hi Ed, that's good to hear. I have trouble with bass, never know if it's too loud or too soft, or too low. No reliable speakers to check these things, except my headphones. I should use a reference track I know...
to me a simple melody always sounds way better that somebody doing a demo of how fast they can play the scales. Really like the orchestral backing Zootman (have since I was blown away by Nights In White Satin)...keep on. Ed
Oh yes, it's absolutely cinematic and evokes images of vast landscapes. This reminds me of my incredible travels with Jynxz...sigh. Great sound, Chris. I'm still working on this one track, it's definitely coming... All the best, Micky
Wicked bro. Look forward to hearing anything you come up with. Might send you a couple of stems in next day or two of something I'm working on at the moment. Might be of some use for something...
Idk why this just now popped up for me to hear, but I'm glad I did, I really like this one man. I could easily use this for something awesome. Do u remember what key its in, offhand? I could find that out myself if need be, tho. Lmk. -Aaron
Hey Aaron, glad to hear it! Don't know about the key sorry. It's mostly percussion except the choir voices which were spitfire labs free thing. And I can't remember what I played lol. Weston63 did a nice remix of it you might want to check out. You could follow his profile on comments below. Cheers Chris
Thanks mate. It's the only thing I've done in this genre, tho having said that, choosing the genre always come last lol. Cheers for the listen and comment.
Hey my brother, I've been sick for a while and I'm catching up on some peoples work, and yours always entertains man. You have this extremely particular thing with your Drums, almost unorthodox. But endearing to the soul somehow. And collaborations with some of my favorite artists on here always make me happy. well done. -Aaron

very cool track man i can see why you like the outside work you should do more of this stuff very very cool.

This is in C# major btw. I don't use Majors as my baseline key very often, but it's easy to bring the pitch up or down to hit a minor

I meant to add that this one was melancholy, but also hopeful at the same time. How the hell u managed that is beyond me, but bravo man. I love it.
