on 3 Worlds Collide by Leeora
I love this. It's so- relaxing. I felt a sort of groove going through the first movement- like a lounge singer softly crooning "I only feel this way with you" until the second movement where it became more of a "hop into my car- I'll take you on a ride" kinda feel. The last movement gave me a deeper voice in jazzy statements like "hearts are not for playing- that's why I have guitar"... I really enjoyed the journey. ^_^

like this slightly ominous sound and those metallic sounding hits - think that lead synth may be a bit loud in places

edit - no sweat, I find after mastering some of my higher end freqs have been boosted a bit much and I need to go back and redo it. I was listening on headphones (not particularly good ones) rather than my monitors.
Leeora
Leeora replied Unknown
Its a slight possibility...i did some re-mastering on the sound. Tempos may be a bit high from the original version that was composed a few yrs back so i wanted to up the levels a bit. I do have the synth under control where there's no sound clashes. Could depend on your computers presets as well. Perhaps you hear something i don't.

Though i do appreciate the feedback..any honest/constructive criticism only motivates me to improve those small areas.

thanks again

You did a good job. Fav. This track is so explosive in many ways. Damn. Inspiring. Overall excellent. We freestyle this whole track and it was interesting the whole way through having to change the flow continuously. Tight work, only 1 way but up!
Leeora
Leeora replied Unknown
I appreciate the positive feedback man! I had this idea to mesh these two themes together & i just ran with it. Took some time to get things where i wanted, but i'd say after the amount that was spent reassuring on the layout, mixing..the tweaking... it was time well spent!

I have other house material i uploaded about a month or so back entitled, "ElecTrolux" & "Temporarily Forever"... feel to to check those out or any of my other projects that are up if you haven't done so already. Spread the word!!

Thanks again.

LM can try...this version doesn't exist (that is until i went to work on it lol)

The entire layout has been chopped & dissected like science!

All my projects are done originally...
occasionally some outer influences

this z awesome dude!4 me t z always a challenge making electro that actually conveys real human emotion as wel as displaying knowledge of ur hardware/daw without t sounding too robotic or too 'musical', u knw wt i mean? However, i think u did justice to both sides of the coin, m loving the breakdown with the filtered melodic or chordal line with the monotonous voc sample, that 2 me soundz like some real house!

thanx 4 the post mate peace!!
Leeora
Leeora replied Unknown
Thnx man...coming from you, your words are most appreciated!!

House in general is something i hold with the utmost respect. For the artists such as yourself who represent this genre and all the sub-genres affiliated. The ability to grasp the concept of its craft and take it to new heights...for there is no limitations as to how far one can go with the right set of tools and a creative mind.

Though I share a variety of tracks of different styles/textures/genres on this site, i don't classify myself as one type of artist. I consider myself to be an experimentalist..i like to dabble in a bit of everything. There's always that challenge when facing something outside of the norm, yet i find it more rewarding in the end.

Stay productive my friend!

Thnx again,

So I just heard you for the first time on an electro song you did. I figured I'd check out some other works. This is the first, and it definitely doesn't disappoint! Soooo lounge//chill. I love the diversity in your pieces. Such a beautiful, funky song 'n vibe. peace.

Thanks man I appreciate it..& yea my sound usually consists of textures in this apparel. Its a style i've grown accustomed to for many years. Though the process of defining my sound & experimenting with various ways to incorporate eccentric patterns that deviate the norm are an on-going learning experience that will keep things interesting in all of my future pieces.

Thanks again for listening!

Got some TrUe House sounds. Felt like I was in a club at 3 or 4 am. That's a good thing! haha. Felt like I heard a couple different songs in 1. That wet acid bit at 45 seconds is sick. "ok!" Totally dug the song. great recording, too. Hope to hear more from ya soon! :0 take care..

Thanks! i am glad you enjoyed it & pleased to know that my sound inspires you to pursue a path of one in the same.

Being an artist is an on-going learning experience...the process of defining our own eccentric sound that deviates from all the rest. If it's something you really want, then finding where you wanna be with your music will simply come to you naturally. It's there & you don't even know it yet! ;]

stay productive & thanks again for listening!

the introduction of the sax, the acoustic voice, is very welcome, on your beautiful electonica groove. you know - when that single string sound came in, I was looking forward to where it might lead, maybe even take the lead - one of those neat, written out, violin section solos - that would be fun sometime. i love your music. you have it down technically, musically, - all the best.
Leeora
Leeora replied Unknown
Thank you for the listening ears & kind words!

The ideal of this piece was to bring about a generic jazz vibe, incorporating various live instruments to the table, alongside keeping that electronic flavor. My intentions were to avoid solo drops to prevent the track from dragging on longer than it necessarily needed to, so the transition of the mashup that i constructed to fit the orchestrated layout could come into play...

Though i did quite an acoustic layout on my song entitled, "Arctic Song". Perhaps you might wanna check that out if you haven't already!

Piano melody compositions done freehand can also be heard on "Crushed Ice" & "For You".

thanks again!

This would fit perfectly into my smoking collection (If I still smoked). Lovely laid back, chilled track with enough pads and ambiance to pick you up and take you away.

Beautiful!
More of the same please.

I was in a euphoric mindstate when i created this elegant piece.

A life that revolved around classical instruments as a child, i like to industrialize those elements with a twist to keep things interesting along the way. I usually don't have to spend a great deal of time on something that comes from within...

I've been doing this for quite some time now & i can honestly say that i still learn something new to this very day. Music in general is an on-going learning experience & as an artist, it's a means to progress & evolve through the process.

Glad i can "uplift" you mentally & spiritually!

If music be the food of the soul then this would be desert!

love the luscious pads and melodic elements in here. Real blue sky optimism on a fresh and clear sunny day vibe. (That's the imagery that I've percieved from this track)

Nice work man, really like the musical aspects of this.

yea my pads are known to have a lot of energy in them. I'm big on ambiance and incorporate various sorts through my work..

Yeah man, I can see our common ground related to sound and melody. Oh I could see this being an absolutely wicked D&B tune.
Keep that human emotion flowing within your music. Lord knows there's enough robots out there!
If you're interested in a D&B mix give me a shout. I would be more than happy to work with your elements.
