I want to comment, but it looks like everything was covered. I love the beat, but the length was disappointing.

I get an usher vibe from this, but the vocals sound good and this beat is real smooth and deep.

thanks man I appreciate it... I checked out the track that you put on your profile. It's pretty dope. I like the fact that the melody doesn't sound so much like a loop. Good work because that isn't easy in hip hop. Peace

I think you could compose in any genre, and the end result would be outstanding. Nothing to critique here (other than wanting it to be a bit longer). I liked everything about this one and could see this in a video game, or on the big screen.

Really, really nice work. I hope you and your family have a great holiday season.

I see you trying something a bit different here bro. I can dig it. I've literally dabbled in about every type of genre there is. (Except country) And i think doing that increases your creativity and work flow. You become more open to all the different sounds that are available for use that is limitless by design. Regardless if this is your first dance type of track, i think you did pretty good. I like the synths and the jumpy rhythm to it. the pad is awesome too. A little short but otherwise nice. keep it up! peace

I couldn't agree more. I started producing because of the same principal you just described. I wanted to try different stuff.

Regarding the track... thanks for the feedback. One of the producers that I work with is a crazy Dance producer. He inspired me to try to do one and War Games is what I came up with. It was dope to work on. I keep a couple of Dance tracks on the back burner. I need to finish em up.
With that being said, the best advice I have heard this year was "Forget genres, just make music" peace

tracking vocals is all about emotion. You have pretty good intonation which is a very good thing. Just keep using the right beats and more people I think will make this connection.

Thanks man, and you are officially the one that introduced me to Massive Attack. I looked them up on iTunes. I had heard some stuff from them and wondered who they were. I'm a fan now. They're amazing.

For the most part this one ios a pretty complex mix soundforsoreeyes....but you have some really cool sound in there,,,I fairly regularly like to layer some hip hop beats in some of my mixes (they work with just about everything) but I couldn`t claim to have any skills in the genre....You do it well...Ed

Yo! Heard some of your other beats on soundclick and the other links. Some of them are pretty dope, i think this was one of them. Can't remember, but shit i didn't know people still used soundclick! haha and i like that vocoder like lead, pretty ill. Digging this alot more than your other beat. Snares and claps could come up just a lil more, but again that's just my preference. keep up the production bro! peace

woah you move fast, i was just about to check out your track before you posted a thread for it! haha see you just joined the site too, welcome man.

Alright to the track, digging the bass drum. knocks! Snare doesn't hit hard enough for me, i think the clap is a just the right level. The snare roll is a little weak, at least through headphones. The synths are solid, would of like the main beeping synth to go through some sort of effect however. Change the sound up a little. The other pad like synth is bomb though! nice. I also thought for some reason the bpm could of been maybe 2 or 3 bpms faster. Just a tad. Overall everything's mixed together pretty well. keep it up bra! peace

Thanks for the welcome and the comments you posted.

I think that you are right on with the bpm. I thought the exact same thing and I know why. However when I tried it out it didn't have the same bounce so I ended up leaving it. It's an older beat but still a pretty good knock. Thanks for your feedback.

I did check out some of your tracks, I was impressed Chi-Town Native and that dubstep track were both pretty nasty. I see that Chicago is still cranking out the talent. Alot of versatility in your sound.

If you wanted to check out more of my stuff (since I can only download 1 track a day), I have newer beats here:

Let me know what you think bruh, and keep making that fire.

peace
