Hello thereBongiG. Long time.
Your muzic track is a banger!
Nothing important...but maybe soften the vocals with some sort of effect or something so it's not so "outward" and harsh. Something to blend the muzic and the vocals a little more.
All in all, not bad. :-)
Good work.
True storyI was deleting old emailsread a message from you with a link to Kompozcame here instead. I thought, Never Knew??? Hmmmm I dont remember that song!
Clicked on this track and IMMEDIATELY came to life. This song is a very beautiful memory of when creativity was fluent.
As I listened I remembered the communication on this and I believe other songs. I listened several times and KNEW I had to get on and leave some crumbs!
From beginning to end this is SO amazing on so many levels. The accompaniment you guys provided with such great care and respect to the vocals and it always amazes me when reverse creativity (vocals first, then muzic) ends up sounding like all were in the studio together. Love the horns. This is a classic.
Bottom line, I am so very pleased with this and grateful you were able to also find some other tools here you guys could grace with your awesome talent!!!! Thank you ALL so much for giving me life right now!!! :-)
Cool intro. Good job capturing the vocals with the muzic. and respecting the space it needs. Quality vocs with a catchy hook. Easy listening. Job well done by both parties.
This makes me feel sad. And then hopeful. And cheery. And then sad again. It is also relaxing and a suspenseful. Great elements in the making of cinematic, all left up to the interpretation of the listener. Thanks for sharing. :-)
Danke! This is one of those throwbacks I still listen to and feel so proud! It was a good time in life where the creativity of muzic was flowing so generously. It started with your awesome track and ended up here. Still feels good. Thanks for sharing again!!!!!!! Hope all is well!
PATRICIA!!!
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!
Can't describe how surprised and happy I am!!!
You know, my 13 years history is too long here but I thought that posterity should remember this song... :-)
Hope all is well with you, we are relativistically fine here... :-)
hug,
Danke
Not weird at all. Very good quality work. I haven't heard the original yet, but I do love all the transitions from one muzical place to the next. I loved the transformers, Bumble Bee was my fave. :-) Just some useless info for everyone to know. Haha Anyhow, I am faving this because I can also hear a bit of soul vocals in there. I can definitely hear this as a soundtrack as well. Good job guys!
Hey, Thanks for the support. I honestly used the weird tag bcuz This has alot of elements in it that are so much different from the work I usually do, whether solo or with my group, the monzder squadd. And the Transformers were the shit! I was all about the mf dino bots, dude. The Frenz has been working on these Transformer pieces, making different types and genres of songs using a set of common elements in each one. I thought the idea was fascinating and decided to give him a song doing the same, using his work as the basis and starting point for mine, and this was the result. Im happy that everyone seems to be enjoying it. I hope it inspires similar collaborations.
It's ironic how quiet time can equal listening to this. Love love the topsy turvy vocals that keep this interesting. Love the changes and musical roller coasters, yet still mellow and calming. Good job.
From the very beginning top notch sound. I'm hearing a lot of good jazz today! I like how all the instruments were given their own space. Very good ear candy. Job well done and a round of applause to all involved!
Hello FCM, thank you so much for taking the time to listen to my track and for your wonderful review. I went with the Miles Davis approach when composing the song which is space, and thanks for noticing that. Again, thanks for the review and I will pass your praises on to the other members.
Very tasteful. Love how everything blends in and the guitar lead is not overbearing, yet allowed to shine. I thought my computer glitched out at the end, kind of abrupt, but I guess since it's my story now, it's my ending. :-) All good vibes. Good job.
Thank you very much for your positive feedback and I sorry if I caused your computer to malfunction :-) Not much to say about the ending actually and you said it! I really appreciate your support, I wish you a good day.
This is some kind of special! I'm sitting here at work and got lost. Very professionally and well done. I love the smooth vibes, easy on the ears. Job very well done.
Nice. The vocals coming in was very pleasant. That thing at the 3:03 markoh yeah. Nice gentle twists and turns that do not cause cringing. Good piece to come and listen to. Well done.
As SOON as I am ready to record again I will be listening to this again. It gives me good, positive vibes. The choice of saxophone, a good choice as it gives the reggae flavor a different flare. Cool one here.
Very tastefully done. Neither muzic nor vocal overpowers or stand out more than the other. Both rest in their own space, thats good! This puts the mind at ease and takes you to a place of peace, with the reminder of a vocal in there. Good job. :-)
Beautiful voice. Ive never heard the original so Ive nothing to compare it with there, but from one vocalist to another I can appreciate the clarity in your voice and the [less is more] use of plugins. :-) I used to hate hearing my voice without reverb, but theres nothing like your natural, raw voice for a song like this that needs nothing more than to hear the heart in your vocals. Bravo. I applaud you on a job well done.
Thanx for listening and compliment.
This song was a big step. I couldn't hide my voice and my asthma breath in the music lol.
You should know that I never sang.
I started making beats 4 years ago and 1 year ago I started singing 1 word on my own beats. Eventually it became more and more words.
But I really needed a lot of courage because I couldn't believe that someone liked my voice.
So now I'm still experimenting and practicing.
As this started playing I heard the theme song from the Dukes of Hazard television show. Hello there my friend Danke! Its good to hear your muzical inspiration again. Sounding good. Oh the muzical melodies dancing around in my head. I cant wait to get started recording again. :-)
Patricia!!!
