You put together a track this dense & cool AND you play bass? Jeez! Ok… I’ll line out a few reasons why I like this track. The electronic noises throughout are tasty. Thomas Dolby-ish but better… more modern. You have so much going on in this track, yet it all fits. It starts out sparse but engaging. Some folks put in samples & little ideas and 40 seconds into it, it will be too much. Not the case with this track.
I would actually change a small part with the vocal/acapella. I’d put more of an accent on the words “sleepâ€Â, “wondering†and “why†by making sure each word fell on a strong down beat. I’d put a pause before and after each word to REALLY put emphasis on them.
Thanks for sharing your music!
There are many moments in this track that threw me to the ground. Many great sections.
Shows true artistry and creativity to take such a small idea (an acapella) & come up with a complete 6 min production… let alone do it in 6 hours.
D*mn… Very rare to find a male vocalist with this much range and creativity. To me, you’re like the next Freddie Mercury! Except you can fit into pop/R&B. I had to set this track as a favorite.
golf clap on this one. Let me know when you get someone to do the verses. I have no suggestions for this one. Must mean you’re on the right track with it.
Is that you on vox?
Golf clap? Lmao!!! Funny shht! Yeah Lato asked me about this one so I sent it to him. I will let you know when he gets back to me with it. Yeah thats me on the vox. Im kinda a jack of all trades when it comes to music.
First off, let me say I WISH I could program half as good as you.
What I hear on this is going to a double time feel with the drum loop & snare at some point... maybe change up the loop to a faster one for variety. Gaw, I'm not sure if I'm making sense. Definitely keep in the stutter edits. The music's great.
Wow, high praise, thank you, I just hope my head does not swell too much to fit through the door. Actually my head is a-swirl - i've listened to some of your loops and tunes - wow !! ( I left a review on your most recent.
I believe I understand what you suggested, I will not be able to do something about it for a while -I've got something new on the burner and am not as fast as I once was with technology.
Am I correct in remembering ( yes, I am getting old, forgeting, and am repeating myself, yes, I am getting old, forgetting, and am repeating myself, ) seeing an offer you made here somewhere to do guitar tracks - One day I would very much like to take you up on that - your are very talented.
freakin comes in pulsing and quiet. Defintely caught my attention! A very musical track. I love the yeahs at the end!
Will you be putting more vocals on this?
thank u so much for your review as it means a lot. im glad u liked it. not sure about puting more vocals on here thou, will check it out, thanks again!
seems too happy to be inspired by a fight. I hear three distintic melodic hooks. makes my bob my head. good stuff. You should def put more time into this one. Such a great start!
Yeah it wasn't the actual fight its when they calm each other down to stop it.thanks for the review.I look forward to making this song a lot better.I just wanted something up there new.I got more on the way.thx again
I’m an acid user… (that didn’t sound rite)… I use Acid to program beats. So, I can appreciate what you’re working with. The bass line is my favorite part of this track.
Staying creative on one piece of music for over 8 min & keeping the music interesting is difficult. You did a great job on this one. I love the compressed Kik & how the bass part compliments it by being on the upbeat. Sonic candy. Thanks for post the track.
I added this as a fav since I love the tones you use.
I would suggest compressing the loop with the snare on it. The whole track could use a bit more level adjustments. The tones are very good, but I hear the balance between them could be a tad better. You may want to try listening to the mix at an extremely low level in mono. This will show you which elements/instruments need to come down in the mix.
Overall mixing is a skill you will hone easily. The creative work you are doing here is what draws me to your stuff. Good stuff!
thanks very much, i appreciate your review. i have to agree that if anything lets me down its my mastering skills, but im sure with time they will come. thanks for the tips ill be sure to try it out. again, i always appreciate the reviews
Talk about getting your 80's fix in at once. true multitasking by listening to 2 80's hits at once. The highlight is definitely the superb guitar solo!
Don't believe I had seen your name before reviewing any of my previous tunes. I appreciate your comments very much and am glad you enjoyed this tune.
Putting a tune like this together takes a lot of time as you can imagine. It is a matter of making both tunes full out and then fitting them together so they will fit properly.
Sorry for the very late reply. I have been working all my days off lately, and am slow in getting reviews back to people for this tune as there was quite a few.
I will listen to one of your tunes later today and give a review back as I am off and have more time. I appreciate your comments very much!

I've toyed with reel to reels & razor blades back in '91 to create music concrete type loops. What you are doing here works. It seems the tape really settled down the tones & made them more musical. Simply brilliant work here!
I got dizzy reading the production process, but geez the end results justify the means. Very engaging track. excellent job. THIS is MUSIC. Thanks for sharing it.

You might want to bring the vocal down in the mix a bit & reduce the effects on the vocals.
