hi Rob, thanks for the listen and comment, i wondered who would be brave enough to comment first, this track will cause controversy im sure, why do you think i brought it, not everyone will like what i say but that's life, we have serious issues in the UK with a corrupt government, illegal migrants and people struggling to feed their kids and pay for utilities, these are the issues we pay taxes for, they dont deliver, main stream media with all the fake propaganda, transgender men should be nowhere near women's sport
society is soft and woke, you get condemned if you speak up about it, i hope people comment, im an adult and my opinion is shared by millions of people across the globe, thanks for being brave and leaving a comment.

Rob. Thank you for the weigh-in, comments and fave. So this one has been a mega blast. The section you mentioned was ripe for a rolling marimba type swag. Yep, mallets on wood for sure. I appreciate the mention of the theme, as you know it's easy to go off the rails. Keyboards? It's so bad now I caught myself with a sandwich in one hand and playing a melody with the other trying to hash out an idea while having lunch, LOL! Anyway, we'll continue our chop session later. Rob I know you know how is can get sometimes. This one was the one I broke the new keyboard in on. Yep I played all the solo sax parts. A first successful attempt. Trust I’ve got a ways to go but the light at the end of the tunnel is encouraging. Thanks once again for taking a ride on the WILD SIDE wit me. The fave is received humbly and graciously. Peace.

Yeah I played around a bit with the instrumentation and BPM. I first recorded a version that was a bit faster with more guitar, then went to the piano to practice playing it live (solo) and decided it needed a slower build-up... and as I recorded that I felt it needed power chords again ;)
I'm happy with the way it sounds now although I'm going to redo some of the vocals.

This type of comment means a lot to me in several ways. 1, my mind set when I'm writing is to create the song as if I'm having a conversation with the listener. 2, when I'm soloing, I'm expressing my most valuable points of the conversation. If I still had the growler vocal abilities I had back in my twenties, (I'm knockin' on 50's door), I would have totally laid some down for this track. But now, I just sound like I'm trying to clear my throat. It just don't do like it used to.

Jynx I'm glad you noticed the setup for the busting loose. I can't stand when a guitar player sets up a song for the bust loose and plays a 8 bar solo. What the heck is that. I cant tell my musical story in 8 bars, because you're correct, I have a lot to say. My goal every time out is to satisfy the listeners ears for what I claim to be expressing, "SMOOTH JAZZ", so if I can't deliver then it's not worth the listen to me. i do love it when it works,
and to be fair Rob, this one worked better than i expected. a lot of thought went in to it bars wise, got the EQ on the vox ok, think i got the flow and pace right, spent ages on the mastering getting the spacing, short pauses, bars back in.
as you know rap is repetitive and catchy, but 6 mins is alot of gas, the bars had to be fresh and changing to keep people interested, its had a good response so im assuming i done ok, even my lad likes it and he asked for the mp3, i might of made it on to his playlist ha,ha now that's progress mate, thanks for the stop off and fav mate, its appreciated.
