Too much Jynx, thanks a lot. I don't generally start anything with a specific idea in mind but this one I had been thinking about an Eno/Bryne track called Mountain of Needles off the bush of ghosts album. man that mangled sound was the result of one of those accidents that go beyond understanding, and the way silverpaw played it is so empathetic and syncretic, it’s def a match for our chosen subject. i’m really happy you caught this, bro!

I've had that throat vocal sample sitting in my files for years. I never knew what do with it. I honestly don't remember where it's from. Himalayan, Mongolian, Tuvian? I really don't remember. But it works here. At least I think so, anyhow.

To break it down in the simplest terms, when I find a lovely sample, in this case, the flute. The ideas flow. I get the image in my head of the results; it's just working to get there is the task. In another way, I'm like a gardener; I plant seeds, feed them with water and wait for my plants to grow. Production-wise, it will take way too long to explain the mix. you can email me or contact my SC on my page if you ever want to chat more on the production

I can't say that I have ever done funk. Well, I have never posted any funk anyhow.

And that, it did! Honestly, I've been toying with the idea of remaking this one with what I know now as opposed to what I thought I did in 2014. Who knows?
