Hi Wayne, thanks for your nice comment. I have to admit I have problems with labelling songs for the right genre. I may should mark them all as weird in the future :-)
thanks Wayne just listened to you latest, im trying to keep my lyrics flowing like you working with others, the way forward, will the new update carry the site forward, sadly not, since the stopping of the forum this place has been dead with very few bothering to join in these days, having nowhere user can interact is the problem and yet they cant see it, its not really an update, more of a paint job for appearance only.
Dang man, you are pumping out these tracks like crazy. Things must be going well in your life. I know I am more prolific when things are going well. It's a good collab, music and the words go well together and you make some good points with the lyrics. Well done to both of you guys!
thanks Wayne, putting the world to rights is me all over. i aint got a bad life tbf roof over my head, good health close family tight friends, Robin' return invigorated me and got me writing outside the rapping box. thanks for the stop off and comment mate
thanks Wayne Robins work has been fantastic of late and ive attached to it, im in that frame of writing at the moment political bashing its a big year politically so i'll keep jumping on their backs :))
i think the next one you will like, same theme, but more adult and i am am really happy with the text ive wrote, i might bring it tmro
That's so sweet you wrote a song about your cat and I love the Bailey Boo singing parts. And the vocals works so well with the music, great effects on them, reverb is perfect.
Sure, I'm back in 1975 with my stylin' moon shoes on my feet and mood ring on my finger. lol
Good stuff!

Thanks, Wayne. And Bailey thanks you as well! :)
I'm pretty sure I never had moon shoes (don't actually know what they are), but I think I might still have my mood ring salted away someplace in the bottom of my sock drawer! :)
I personally wouldn't call this folk. Drums would be real acoustic drums and real acoustic guitar, no loops. This is pop or one of the electronic genres. Not that it's any big deal, just saying.
It has a laid back approach and to me it has a summer vibe to it. Vocal panning throws me off a bit, that might be your style of mixing tho. Sometimes it's nice to do a more peaceful sounding track with impactful lyrics, it can come across to listeners as more powerful a track. Well done Paul!
hi Wayne, i get you on the genre thing, it was the only thing i wasn't sure about. it is a protest sort of thing but as it was soft and delicate, i googled it and the 3 options were as i put in description just went with folk cos it was first but possibly more commercial than folk. and thanks for the nod on the panning. after mixing it yesterday, i had three vocal layers routed to the vocal buss all different, i sang it 3 times and didn't use panning, just stereo separation and volume levels, so i thought, until i checked this morning after reading your comment. i had vocal on track 3, 6, 7, the latter 2 had stereo separation 3 had panning instead of separation, ive corrected that now, 7 was the main vox and i did try panning 3 to the left and 6 to the right, i didnt like it at all so went for separation so big thanks on that, minor errors can make or break a track. is it just me but i put so much in to writing and layout structure, full concentration, yet become sloppy and rush the finishing touches which should be the most important, i just find it incredibly boring:))
I had to check out Bedlam and PSB. I had never heard them before. I really dug Bedlam. I can hear what you mean, as far as similarities. Mostly the synth inclusion in the metal guitars. Havoc is pretty f'n cool for a modern thrash band. They kept it true to the original genre. Good on them!
I'm glad you liked this one. I kinda do too! Thanks for taking the time to listen, comment and fav!
Ed! Good to see again! Also good to hear that sweet guitar again. Nice laid back track, has a bit of that vintage rnb feel to it. Keep at it pal, this is the fun part in life if you can keep doing it.
good to hear from you my friend. Guess I`m still addicted to this old guitar stuff as I can`t seem to quit.old widower now in a small apartment so guess its good to have the music to keep the juice flowing. big thanks for the kind comments Wayne. Besy to you and yours..Ed
I like when lyrics are about the mundane things in life, the odd things we observe and find interesting enough to think about and create something cool. Like the idea!
In the first 3 seconds I thought of the 70's song Na Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye and got reminded a few times in the track. weird but true, lol. Cool track, lots of dance-able energy in this one. Rollerskating in the 70's to this kind of music.
Hey Hey Wayne, yes, I remember the Na Na Na song. It was actually kind of cool. The track would definitely be good at the roller disco, hey hey... mine too, probably. Thanks for listening, glad you liked it.
Cheers,
Micky
Put this in a dark thriller movie and it would def add to it's feel. Those low subs are cool. I don't know much about trap so it's hard for me to comment about that side of things but overall a thumper.
