allmost skipped this one on account of the dubstep label. I really enjoyed it!!! the keyboard lines and the drumbeat fitted together perfectly. the keyboards had an 80's sound that was surprising. really great job.
great track, some of the lead sounds were a bit too loud in the mix, but that doesn't take from the quality of the overall work. I actually liked some of the dissonances of the vox :) congrats!!!
Hey thanks guy! this was one of the tracks I lost in my pc crash, I will have to totaly redo it on acid to finish it, Just sent it out to my great friends at looperman for there review, yeah I started a lyrical idea here with this, but got caught up in the crash in the enterm!
many thanks for you comments ... yeah ... you're probably right about the beats ... I'll bear it in mind for future tracks ... but I'm glad you liked the guitar ... cool ... cheers mate ... all the best ... faceless ...
the effects are great in my mind it lacks a "lead", a melody that you can recognize throughout the song which doesnt really show up till about 3:00 minutes into the song. loved the overall sound on it though :)
Interesting stuff and loads of potential here!!! I really like the ethnic touches (I've got major links to Brazil, and Africa on a personal level)I agree with the transitions comment, and love the fact that you're mashing styles up to make something different. I'm gonna keep an eye out for your stuff :)
thanks bro! :) I've always loved African music and I was recently introduced to Brazilian (capoeira) So this was fun to do.
Okay those comments were before I seriously redid this one so if you could be more specific on which transitions need work I'd appreciate it. Gotta keep it creative, hate generic and typical.
thanks again mate
excelent tune, love the mixture of different styles that you got going here, that's the kind of stuff that I more often than not try to get :)
P.S.: damn boy, you're guitar playing is good!!
had to come back to this, I'm not specifically a rap fan, and don't know as much as i'd like about it, but I know my ears and I really enjoyed it, beat fits the lyrics and delivery tone perfectly. enjoyed this thoroughly :)
Damn, that says alot when you hear a song in a genre you really dont like, so your review means a million! I got 250 songs, so get used to my postings and sound--wait until the New sh#t drop! gf p.s I rap but listen to only R&B--aint that strange? lol
thumbs up bro, liked it a lot. I think some lyrics and vocals would take it to another level. specially liked the eerie touch the clean guitar gives it.
