Hello and good morning,I finally found some time to listen to a few songs here. You both did a fantastic job. Others have already mentioned it, and I completely agree with the positive reviews. Its a beautiful, soothing songclearly and cleanly structured, well-mixed, and mastered. What more could one ask for?
Best regards,
Manuela
Hi Aaron,
Well, its not the genre I usually favor, so I can only comment on the craftsmanship. Once again, youve delivered a very high-quality, intricate piece of work that is technically flawless. To me, it feels quite dark and slightly menacing, but thats expected in this genre. Youve arranged the song in a very detailed manner without getting lost in the specifics, which is impressive and not something everyone can achieve. The balance between vocals and music in terms of sound and volume is perfect. Nothing feels intrusive, and everything is clearly audible. Overall, its a great production.
Best regards and have a wonderful weekend,
Manuela
Hey Manuela, Im glad u take the time for these songs, even though they arent your forte. The Monzder Squadd project is something ive been thinking about and planning for years, the first plans for it were done back in 2016 with my friend J. Holmes - Who came out of retirement to help me complete the album, and to help my brother nurture his vocal talent. And with Infamous RAD, ive known him since gradeschool, and hadnt worked with him since 2018. Both of those guys have albums and experience under their belt, and some fame around the area we live. On top of that, the contributions from many people from the LM family means Its been the most rewarding project of my life. Im happy u get to experience it with me :) - Aaron
Yeah I guess the chord progression is kind of bluesy. I've just been listening a little more critically and realized I'm pretty flat in a few places. But maybe in this song it doesn't matter, hopefully, since it's half way between singing and spoken word. Cheers Chris
Hello Anthony, that's no problem at all. I too am currently having difficulties responding to messages promptly, as I am very busy with other commitments.
Kind regards, Manuela
Hello, Im so glad you captured my voice so well. I know its very challenging to musically support my unconventional singing, but you did a great job. I love the instruments you used. I believe when we present our next acapella piece to the community in January, well provide a bit more information. On the other hand, I really appreciate people like you who take on difficult tasks and share them here. Unfortunately, this is often underappreciated. Great work!
Best regards to our neighboring country, Manuela
Hello Manuela, yes it took me 3 days to find this chords progression :-) each day I ear different possibility. And certainly, there will be other possibilities. However, it's a gift from 2Sisters as it's the better way to really learn in my opinion from talented artists. In first impression, I ear that your acapella sound in some aspects like a Leonard Bernstein music and it can be gracefully orchestrated in the way of.
As you know, It's been a long time since I made music and I have to gradually reconnect with my musical abilities that I had at 15 years old.
Thank you for your comment as I am personally not entirely satisfied with the result. It's the difference between real artist who knows what she wants and get it and beginner who tried :-) And it's ok, the fundamental purpose is to get pleasure practicing
Hello Paul, it's truly strange the stories life writes. But no matter how you twist and turn them, these stories are the foundation on which our development, actions, and feelings are built. Just recently, a wise person told me, "If you've never felt the true pains of life, you will never be able to find its true beauty."
Best regards, Manuela
wise words, i can relate to myself Manuela, your foundations are your building blocks, i have faced many a misfortune, lots my own doing too, yet i still remain positive, you have to learn from your mistakes, i just try to pass that knowledge on in my songs, dont be afraid to fall, its how you get back up and fix yourself that counts, that's what makes you what you are today, yesterdays gone, tomorrows here, is today your day, who knows i'm no soothsayer :)) life writes a new story each day, its up to you to react to it
Hello, I can only agree with the previous positive comments. The song has everything a successful song needs: a great melody, beautiful female vocals, an engaging drive, and most importantly for success, a simple, sing-along chorus. If you release it in the right places and find a promoter, it could bring financial success. However, just releasing it on streaming services alone probably wont be enough. So, get involved in the scene and find a promoter.
Best regards,
Manuela
Hi Kay, hi Olli, what a beautiful interplay between melody, vocals, and effects that this song offers us. Great quality, well-mixed and mastered. I enjoyed the song in its entirety and love this rhythm with its melodic lead. Wonderful.
Best regards and have a nice weekend, Manuela
Hello Anthony, that's a very beautiful song! It makes me feel transported to a Greek summer, somewhere on a vacation, with sunshine and blue skies... Wonderful! Also, the structural change at 2:04 is very beautiful.
Best regards, Manuela
Hello Manuela
thank you so much for visiting to listen to my music and of course for your kind words. It is always a pleasure to know you liked my works. I am sorry for the late answer, it was really a busy period.
Best wishes, Anthony
Ein wirklich sehr schoenes Liebeslied! Der Text ist wundervoll, den du so gefuehlvoll zu Loic Notte's Klavierstimmung gesungen hast. Toll! Meine Hochachtung! Liebe Gruesse, Manuela
Hello, I can only agree with the other posters. Wonderful guitar work, very cinematic yet style-oriented. The use of instruments is well-chosen. The song is well-structured and not boring at all despite its length. The mix is clean and the mastering is balanced. Well done!
Best regards, Manuela
Hi Rita, what a fun and delightful track! Besides rap, I can think of many other things that could be done with your beat. Manuela and V are right, youre too talented to be overlooked.
Best,
Angelica
Thank you Angelica.
I thought it was a bit of a simple beat and not much special.
But when I see all these compliments and that it is downloaded anyway, I am surprised again.
This happens to me often when I think a track of mine isn't really special lol
I understand your perspective. Depending on the beliefs and experiences with your own beliefs and experiences, music can cause powerful emotions and different interpretations. It is interesting how texts can accept different meanings for different listeners. Her observation of the irony in replacing "Gott" by "Starman" shows how adaptable music can be. Everyone finds their own way of connecting to art, and it is completely valid to have mixed feelings at certain aspects. Yes, I also feel that Richard's texts have almost a small missionary character. I also talked to him. It was interesting that he once wrote to me that he hadn't been in a church for a long time. But I don't think it's bad. As long as you don't want to convince someone and accept the opinion of others, and Richard seems to do that, that's okay. He, knows my opinion. And he really makes good music.
Yeah I agree totally. People hear completely different things, or maybe choose to focus on certain things and filter other stuff out. Anyhow, this tracks seems to keep growing on me, so thanks again. My daughter Tui likes it too, she reckons if it was on spotify she'd put it on her playlist lol. High praise from her.
"Starman" can have mythological meaning in different contexts. With David Bowie's famous song "Starman," it could be argued that he represents a kind of messiah or savior figure, someone who brings hope and delivers a message of change and new beginnings to people.
In a broader mythological perspective, a "Starman" could be seen as a celestial being, often representing higher powers, cosmic forces, or divine messages. Think of figures like Hermes in Greek mythology, who carried messages between the gods and humans, or the concept of star children in various cultures who possess special wisdom or powers.
No matter how you interpret it, the figure of "Starman" always seems to represent a connection to something larger and transcendent.
What does Starman mean
"Starman" can have different meanings depending on the context. In pop culture, it is best known for David Bowie's song of the same name, in which an extraterrestrial being brings hope and a message of change to people. In a broader mythological context, a "Starman" could be interpreted as a celestial being or messenger of higher powers, similar to Hermes in Greek mythology. It's a figure often associated with something greater and transcendent. Sounds fascinating, right?
Yes it does. In my mind it was an appeal to a greater power, hopefully one with more wisdom than humanity, to help us 'find our way'. Slightly ironic for me personally as an atheist (though still spiritual) individual is that you could easily substitute Starman for God lyrically if you were so inclined. I observed as much to Richard after cheekily saying I liked his music but found the Christian aspect off-putting!
Hello, I agree with Anthony's opinion. Great vocal line that is well supported and carried by your part. However, in my opinion, the song needs a few additional elements to give it more excitement and variety. Slight temporary support for the vocals, for example, in the chorus with some carrying elements that stand out from the good basic beat and signal to the listener that a new chapter in the song is coming. You need to create a slightly larger arc of suspense. This will make the already good song even better. But I must emphasize, this is just my opinion. Best regards, Manuela.
Hey Mom, youve been incredibly productive lately. I'm finding it hard to keep up with all your songs. By the way, your work is very beautiful and interesting. I love it! Best wishes, your Little One.
Im going to fast for my little one this days??? (Smile)

When you asked us if we could imagine producing a song with you and sent us your wonderful music with your singing, Angelica immediately said, "Let's do it." Once Claudia delved into the mythological significance of the Starman and wrote the lyrics, which we unfortunately had to shorten to make them fit, everything else fell into place.
I must say, singing in the "Dm" key was quite a challenge for me. At first, I sang the whole song too low. But now that it's finished and knowing you like Kate Bush, it fits well. However, if I had to sing a whole concert in that key, I'd be ready for the ENT clinic. smile
Chris, there's half a world between us, but I think we've created something wonderful together. Thank you for your idea and your wonderful music.
I'm very glad you took the bait! I'm curious what mythological significance you found re. Starman. I thought he/it was just a figment of my imagination lol. And next time I'll try to make something in a lower key....thanks for all your work on this. Cheers Chris
Hi Aaron,
The horror is coming straight at me. Welcome to Halloween. Smile Great sound and including Rita as Miss Spooky is a fantastic idea. Good song, perfect for the night ahead. Dont let the monsters catch you. Smile
Best regards,
Manuela
Hi Richard, you seem to be an unwavering workaholic when it comes to beautiful melodies and words. Lovely composition! High-quality work. I really like it, and everything else has already been said by my predecessors. Best regards, Manuela
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! I truly appreciate your kind words. It means a lot to know that the melodies and compositions are connecting with listeners like you. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.
I don't believe anyone disapproves of your music. You are a fantastic musician and artist! Paul is right with his response. Unfortunately, traffic is generally declining here. But that isn't because of you or your music. Don't doubt what you're doing! You belong here and are one of the true musicians who upload high-quality, sophisticated works. It's not about the number of clicks. Most people just click on a song and then move on to the next one. But those who express their appreciation for you as a musician and colleague in their comments are the ones for whom our work is worthwhile. And I consider you a great artist. Please continue sharing your work with us! Kind regards, Manuela, one of your humble admirers.
It is so nice to read kind and friendly words. We are not competing each other (unfortunately in other aspects of our lives this may be a heavy duty in order to just be) and this is something advantageous, it sets us free to real feelings, most of the times driven by just music. We get a picture of others full of notes, harmonies and lyrics. Thank you Manuela for your expressive post and thank you for considering my work, that of an artist. Real thanks
Best wishes, Anthony.
Hey Anthony, a beautiful musical dream. It just can't last long enough. I absolutely love these delicate melodic harmonies. The gentle piano play, carried by the other instruments yet standing out slightly, is a delight! It truly is the musical embodiment of a poetic rhyme. Your words about poetry perfectly describe this song. Lovely, best regards,
Manuela.
Hello Manuela
Thank you so much for visiting, listening to my music and posting your thoughts. I really appreciate the way you listen to music and this makes your comments so very inspiring to me.
I have always strived to comment honestly and provide what I believe to be helpful criticism. However, after the attack on me, I was on the verge of turning my back on LM. But the positive reaction and the encouragement not to do so prevented me, as I realized that there is still a community. Nevertheless, it has made me more cautious in my statements. But I do not lie. When I say I like a song, then it is so, and I still point out noticeable mistakes. And to all those who do not like constructive criticism, they can turn off the messaging function. By the way, I really like your slogan!!
I wasn't aware that there was an attack on you. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know if he still does, but at one time, Mr. Looperman himself kept a pretty tight watch on the place, looking for troublemakers and dealing with them accordingly. There is still a strong sense of community here, but it's just.....different now. Obviously, I can roll with the changes, I'm still here too.
I'm glad you chose to stick around. You bring encouragement for those who need it.
Take care.

There it is, the song for all political coffee drinkers, smile. There used to be a TV show in Germany that was broadcast regularly on Sunday mornings. Journalists sat together, smoked (yes, that was still allowed back then) and discussed world politics. I remember it was called "Presseclub" or something like that. I was very young, but my parents watched it regularly. For you it would be the "Coffein Club", smile. Great job, by the way. Best wishes, Manuela
Hi Manu you know well me and Rita enjoy a coffee, and i can tell you hand on heart if we lived in Germany, we also would have both tuned in to Presseclub guaranteed. i watch all that political garbage there's more drama in it than a tv show lol, TBF I'm watching Solar System with professor Brian Cox as i write' he was the keyboard player for the band D -ream, you know 'things can only get better' he's a clever guy. and we lived in the generation were tobacco and alcohol were the biggest sponsor, snooker players drinking pints and smoking cigarettes was always on TV, lol
