Thanks for taking a listen to my track. Love the feel of your thing. I spend a lot of time on a small island in the Bahamas. Your track is perfect. Dig. UncleErin
It was a pleasure to hear your track - I know how important it is to be heard when you have created something that means something to you, Perfect - wow -why, thank you! Kay0s
Hello UncleErin, i really appreciate you listening to my tracks and commenting my friend....it means a lot and there's much more to come. Enjoying your works as well....let's keep the creativity going.
Hey Mark. Just finished a few listens of this. Pure jazz flavour. The track has a "Return to Forever" vibe for me. I'm always amazed at the clarity and purity of your sounds. The mixes are awesome. I call it front to back but I think it is the knowledge of how to place reverb and eq correctly. Awesome work. Love being a fan! UE
UE! Your stop is big business. The comments coming from a jazz purist such as yourself speaks volumes. On the clarity and purity, my M.O. is to show as much love and respect to the ears, minds, hearts, and spirit of the listeners. And I’ve got a ways to go. The RTF mention is over the top! Reverb, eq, etc., is where the real work comes in. We gotta have extra dimensionality for this genre of jazz. I appreciate your time for the listen. Peace.
Hot Rats! Locks in for me around the 2 minute mark. Sensational groove there. Again at 3:37 Chord Changes there Perfect.
Kind of wishing you got back to that heavy groove (the 2 minute warning one) that was the hook for me. Fantastic Mark
UE Sorry about the late reply. I’m just doing way too much! LOL! That’s a big compliment and fave you put on this track. Heavy groove? Yep for the HEAVYWEIGHTS! Which you are the President and CEO! UE it’s always a pleasure having you stop by. Be safe always my friend.
I don't know how I missed this one. Great track! WOW. Piano playing is fire, for sure. Love the doubling synth. What synth is that? (Around 50 sec mark) Loved it. Thanks for all the work you put into this. UE
UE! It's great hearing from you. Thanks for the stop and the virtual pat on the back. The synths in the section you mentioned goes as follows:
Roland Zenology Attack Brass.
Fab Filter Twin 3 Vintage Brass Ensemble.
Kontakt 7 The Saxophone. Peace.
UE the freedom of diversity is liberating. In this business we can go in any direction and sometimes go off into uncharted territory LOL! Thanks for listening. The support is highly valued. Peace.
Great track! You know I love a horn section and the section at about 3:50 slays. Pure energy and sonic funk joy. As usual your mixes are superb. Thanks Mark
Thank you UE, I just try hard. I have been on the Loop for a long time. Got on under a deferent name. You are added to my gifted and humble artist list as well as SMOOTH SMOOTH SOUNDS. Thanks again for the motivating comment. Will stop by soon. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Mark. WOW! Amazing track my friend. For me it conjures up Weather Report and a (Jaco..ish) bass groove. Mix and spatial awareness is great as usual. I know how much heart and soul, (with a capital S , random Tower of Power reference) is put into these tracks. Groove is non-stop. UE
UE. Your stop, feedback, fave, and compliments are received humbly. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed our spirited conversation. You mentioned Weather Report and Bass Kingpin Jaco? That's HUGE! T.O.P.? I'm done....... Those groups are amongst my all-time favorites. Your continued support is a true blessing, UE
UE your stop, listen, feedback and fave is appreciated big time. So I was watching a documentary on the ladies of Sunset Studios in LA and the one engineer said it took Prince two weeks to get the right snare sound for one song. I didn’t quite understand why that long for a snare sound until I tackled this composition. I went through about at least 20 snares until I got the sound I needed. Then the tweaking process was another thing. I’m saying a whole lot of work went into that snare and you noticing that made my day 4 real! Be safe UE
UE, Again it a great honor for your listen and feedback. Likewise your work is phenomenal! Yep I haven’t recovered from “Make A Wish” yet:)! Be Safe.
