I love a good sax! This is very cafe cool, with low lights, dark sunglasses, and an espresso. Very atmospheric, lots going on I bet you two must be pleased with this, keep it up I want to hear more. I'm going to play it again!
yes, Massive Attack were, er 'massive' and certainly tucked away in my favourites. You are correct Lawyer (good listeners I would hazard a guess?) to top music producer is not a natural career progression! Although there is probably some multi-Bentley owning person in, say, LA running around with such a career pathway!! I am based in Liverpool, you may have heard of it (!) and it is a good place for bands, I love the City. Are you on Soundcloud? Also Amazing Radio? They are good shop fronts for your work if you did not already know. I made a big mistake today amd in error deleted my Soundcloud account, ooof! Hopefully they can retrieve it, fingers and eyes are crossed.
Take care Eric and keep listening and producing. Bruce Essar (Chester is our cat!)
Hi, Bruce. Chester is a fine name for a cat. Our's is called "Bailey". :)
No. I am not on Soundcloud or Amazing Radio. I decided some years ago to just keep my tracks here on Looperman, where there is more of a community and I can get constructive advice.
I have no aspirations of becoming a "real" producer. At my age (74) this is very much a hobby for me. But, I definitely am trying to produce decent stuff and to continuously improve. Never stop learning. :)
I really liked this it is a very pleasant piece, soothing to the senses. It trips nicely along and I found myself relaxing back into my seat as I listened, a lovely harp melody binds it together well. As Lek says above it is a (very) nice track.
thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the listen!
The harp was one of the first elements of the song I came across, and was the inspiration for the track's title! The melody made me feel like I was flying LOLL which I thought was epic enough to build on.. and thus FLiGHT: THEME was born XD
If you want to listen again it's on Youtube & Soundcloud (but the quality is better on YouTube LOL)!
I see that you are from the UK. Were you familiar with the Massive Attack original or the cover done by The Six? As time goes by I realize how much good music I've somehow totally missed hearing.
Should have spent more time listening and less time trying to be a lawyer, I guess. :)
