I'm an Aussie uni bum with future aspirations of working in Japan for a bit before returning to Aus. In a perfect world, this would be in their music industry. In reality, I'm planning to be a simultaneous interpreter.
Piano, voice, a little bit of guitar (I can strum 5 different chords, that actually doesn't even count)... the computer...
Logic Pro X w/ Sylenth1 (32 Lives).
Macbook Pro (early 2015, i7, 16GB RAM).... SE Electronics mic + my voice.
Too much to list... Half in English, half in Japanese (Sakanaction are awesome, holy shit).
Enter Shikari, SAFIA, Sakanaction, Of Monsters and Men. No idea what the common thread with these bands are but I love the shit out of them.
Enter Shikari - The Mindsweep and every other album ever released by them.
Sakanaction - Sakanaction (self-titled), DocumentaLy
Of Monsters and Men - Beneath the Skin, My Head is an Animal
Pendulum - Immersion
The Amity Affliction - Youngbloods
Influences... I don't even know anymore. I think anything I listen to and enjoy will influence what I do in one way or another, whether it be an instrument effect, chord progression... I end up subconsciously finding those influence what I make.
That... that's a good question. I had some chill electro tracks, and now I've made a piano ballad... in Japanese... you judge. :)
am a student.
