I'm a long standing musician,playing in my early days with bands like,Citizens Bureaux and European Line,later in the eighties writing with Bill Heggie (Cocteau Twins and Low Life) and Stuart Everest (European Line and Low Life) I gave up music for a number of years, and now i've started writing and recording again, this time going under the name of "The Sub Room"

I play bass (main instrument) I also play guitar and can get by on a keyboard (sometimes)

I use Cakewalk and have done for nine or ten years (before Bandlab )I also use Reason, but Cakewalk is my go to DAW

I have Komplete Audio 6 as my audio interface, two 25" monitors, Rokit 8 speakers, UMX250 MIDI controller, Maschine mk2, and Spark

Ziggy Stardust, The Velvet Underground and Nico, Never Mind The Bollocks, Exile On Main Street, The White Album, London Calling

My Mother and Father, Homer Simpson, Lou Reed, John Lennon, David Bowie and Art, all Art !!!

I supposed, a little dark sometimes, but hard to say, I always think that's up to the listener

Working in sales, not related to music, and having fun with my wife and grown up kids, and not forgetting our two cats !!
