I am a music junkie. When it comes to the tunes that move me, I'm very picky about what I like, but when I get tingles up my spine from the music I hear, I know without a doubt it's amazing music.
I played in an orchestra since Middle school, took that up into High School and lost interest in the direction our orchestra took so I dropped it. Since then I've applied what I learned to play violin to learn guitar, as far as scales, and chording. I must say in all honesty, in comparison guitar is a much easier instrument to play.
I'm currently toying around with quite a few different DAWs right now, amongst them would be the likes of Sony Acid, FL Studio, and Audacity for now.
As of right now, I am using only my keyboard and loops from musicians as well as loops that come with my DAWs.
Listening to a lot of instrumental metal for the time being. I've always been a fan of metal, heavy riffs, a great drum scheme, and semi heavy bass.
Some of my favorite albums...At the Edge of Time (Blind Guardian), Group Therapy (Dope), The Last Remnant OST (Tsuyoshi Sekito/Yasuhiro Yamanaka) Bloody Kisses (Type O Negative) Animosity (Sevendust), the list goes on and on and on.
I'm semi-eclectic. I like a few different genres, but I absolutely despise country, and most rap.
I plan to produce mainly instrumental tracks for people to mellow out to, and possibly do some remixes. If you're looking for a specific genre, I couldn't tell you.
In my other life, I'm sleeping, working, or gaming if I'm not deaf from blaring music.
