My currant rig is a Bass Station 2 Korg Volca Sample and mixing with a Mackie Mix8 I have no laptop so I have no D.A.W. next month am purchasing the Roland SE-02 and before the end of the year Mac Book and will be tracking with Abelton I've added a korg volca keys for running 2 sequences at one time or I can trigger it with my Bass Station which gives my mono synth polyphony..but decided on Arturia mini brute drum brute with a Roland TB-3 I've done my homework and that's the simplest perfect rig...
