N/A but looking to get into a drum machine/sampler if anyone has suggestions

Right now I am listening to a lot of late 60's and 70's funk and jazz music searching for new inspiration. Their ear for music was just different.

As far as hip hop albums I would go with Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, ATliens, Pilot Talk, Be, The Big Doe Rehab, Pinata, Jeanius, She Got Game, Moment of Truth, Muddy Waters, Charity Starts At Home, XXX, The Chronic, No One Can Do It Better, Murs 3:16 etc....

I am a 90's hip-hop head so from that era Pete Rock, Dr. Dre, J Dilla, Preemo, Large Professor, Havoc, Erik Sermon, Ski Beatzetc, Hi Tek, DJ Quik, Beatminerz. Some of the modern era producers that I like are Nottz, Jahlil Beats, Scoopdeville, Harry Fraud.

My music sounds like life. I do not really have a style I just know what I like so it is all based on my mood.
