Well to tell you the truth I've been rapping since 1996 or early 97'. Me, my friends, and kinfolk started rapping just to make over songs and put our own lil swag to it. The more people we let hear it, the more people told us to get serious. Around 1998 is when I graduated out of high school and decided I wanted to start my own label and photography company. So that's when I came up with the name So Mannish Entertainment/So Mannish Photography & Video. I put my label to the side to try to find a home at other labels that were up and running around the city. I recorded at several studios but something just wasn't there. Everybody wanted to be the one who called the shots, or other people just thought that they were the sh*t and didn't need anybody else. I was a house DJ for a while, doing little parties or any type of event. Then about 2000, 2001, I wanted to do music again. I recorded with my cousin at Lava House Records. I put out music, then later recorded at Rob 'Em Bline Records. We put out good cds for a couple of years, but I was still missing something..........and that one something was So Mannish Entertanment. And we here and we ain't going nowhere
