I'm a poet/writer whose getting into a project where I like to use music/sound effects when I record poems. I'm also a singer (write and record under the stage name Naomi Daniel,)and back in the early 90s I wrote the lyrics to and recorded two House music tracks with Planet E DJ/producer Carl Craig. The tracks were "Stars" and "Feel the Fire." Love what I do.

I'm a singer, so I play my vocal chords. :)

My musical tastes vary from day to day. I often wake up with music in my head, and in the morning I'll post my playlist on Facebook of the tracks I woke up with in my head. The playlist ranges from Bobby McFerrin to James Brown, sometimes Jamie Collum or Annie Lennox, other times it may be Bonnie Rait or Taylor Eigsti. I've just gotten into the band Funky Knuckles and Snarky Puppy. My best friend is a record label owner/producer/recording artist who just released her 4th CD "Fourward" so that's in rotation a lot these days.

In my other life, I'm a single mom of 23-year old House Music DJ/Producer, Jay Daniel, whom I'm extremely proud of. I also own and operate a boutique creative communications company called AND Communications. And I'm a freelance writer for a major metropolitan daily newspaper in the entertainment section. It all keeps me very busy, but I say better busy than bored.
