“On a Saturday, at the age of 14, I walked into the youth center at Hahn Air Base, Germany and saw a man who worked there with a troubled look on his face. I asked him what the problem was and he said “ the dj for tonight just cancelled . . . you wanna dj? “ “Sure, I´ve got four records. “ I said. I wanted to help this man and didn´t even get excited about it. So, I borrowed some records from my father and some from a friend of his. That night I kept the people dancing and man who hired me wanted me to spin every Saturday. . . How was I to know that this day would start me on a road that I would still travel to this day…”
