i use this site to track down loops for my music. i grew up totally adoring adult swim and funimation bump music and this is where i go when i'm looking to recreate that magic ***

i'm primarily a bassist and a singer but i got into instruments through ukulele. also love playing guitar. i have an ever growing collection of instruments that i can moderately play including slide guitar, erhu, melodica, various african drums for some reason, and piano out of necessity

garageband is actually a great program if you know how to use it. i also have mainstage 3 which i have because it ports tons of new instruments into garageband and overall makes life better

upgrading to logic when the time comes

i record vocals on a blue yeti mic, do all my midi stuff on an akai mpk-mini, and use a focusrite scarlett 6i6 to record my guitars

i once described my music to a friend as "alternative depresso-rock." my music is honestly as all over the place as i am as a person, so it ranges a lot from general alt-rock moody to more ethereal ukulele and programmed strings but it's all pretty small-scale and bedroom

currently working random side gigs to make do while i develop my music and my brand, also just to see what sticks
