I listen to various retro bands such as the Byrds, Prince, Tom Petty, The Fabulous Thunderbird's, Pink Floyd, and Hendrix. I make covers of songs played by these people just for my own entertainment.
Any Hendrix album, Steppenwolf Live, Any Pink Floyd album, any Moody blues album, anything that Ravie Shankar or/ his daughter, Annouska, has produced.
I fell in love with Steppenwolf and played Monster 3 days straight while I painted a friends ceiling with th American flag, a peace sign instead of stars, and a dove that was about half the total size. Then, my brother in the Navy, brought home The Jimi Hendrix Experience album when no one else had even heard of him.
I'm the music director at my church, so I make my own music for singing. Aside from Alan Jackson, I've made the lords prayer based on a mix of Susan Boyle's version and Andrea Bocelli with the Morman Tabernacle Choir. I wish I could get that perfect reverb found in that building.I throw in some rock songs too. I also do classical such as The William Tell Overture.
I'm an armed security officer and presently working in my local City Hall.
