After playing and recording with several prominent Boston bands in the early 2000s, I returned home to Maine and ended up in a corporate cubicle for twelve years. After unceremoniously departing said cube in February 2015, I returned to the University of Maine at Augusta in September 2015, earning my Bachelors of Music: Sonic Arts Concentration in May 2016, twenty-five years after I started. My debut attempt at filmmaking, film scoring and recording, Life in a Day: A Film by Brian Westbye, which I created in Pro Tools and the Adobe Creative Suite, premiered in May 2016. There is no turning back.
