About Me
WW II Boomer baby - grew up listening to country, blues, and rock. Lived in Chicago area most of my life. Played guitar and keyboards in lots of HS and college nondescript bands. Got drafted in '70, got engineering degrees using the GI bill, got married, raised kids, now retired. Got back into music with the introduction of DAWS and sample loops and have been enjoying home music production ever since.
Instruments I Play
1965 Gibson SG Std (Custom) and a 2010 modified Epiphone LP (added active bridge PUP for connection to GP10 hardware).
Software I Use
Using Cubase and Studio One Pro along with lots of Izotope plugins.
Hardware I Use
An old EMU-0404 card (using both analog and digital audio input channels). An Akaii MPK mini controller; a Casio Digital Piano, a Casio synth, A Boss GP10 Midi/Analog guitar controller, and a Steinberg UR44 USB I/O interface.

My Music Sounds Like
Closest to what is generally termed Alternative Rock. I like to modulate keys and play with modes.
In My Other Life I ...
30+ years as a board level digital circuit designer, controller software developer, and technical manager at Bell Labs. Now just a happy grandpa with multiple grandkids - Old retired guy.
