I'm 63, a former 'professional' man who retired from the law a year or so ago. My main interests are music and the 24 Heures du Mans motor race, which I've been to 34 times.

Still experimenting. I use old eJay software as a mixer and edit with Audacity. Hoping now (having bought a midi keyboard) to move into more sophisticated DAW work.

For the last 6 months or so, I have been heavily into Joy Division, a band I liked when I was younger. But it's only now that I realise what an incredible band they were, especially Peter Hook's bass, which inspired me to buy myself a bass guitar last year.
1. Faust - The Faust Tapes - the greatest album of all time.
2. The Ramones - It's Alive - the greatest live album of all time.
3. Can - Future Days - a sublime album.
4. Joy Division - pretty well anything....
My main influences are 'Krautrock', in the main Can and Faust although I'm also a punk rocker at heart with the Ramones as another huge influence.
Repetitive, monotonous, gradually evolving with strong rhythms and a firm unyielding beat throughout. Also very long.....
I was a lawyer, but now retired.
