I don't know if this is what is being asked but I currently shred it up like swiss cheese on my Beautiful Butterscotch Blonde Squier Telecaster and have a Rogue Violin Bass that sounds sweet and looks gorgeous with its Vintage Sunburst finish. I also got a Orange Crush 20RT amp that I do not use as often as I probably should. As for midi stuff, I have this Pyle PTED01 mini drum set that it just amazing, as well as an Akai MPK Mini mkII 25-key Keyboard. I have a shitty mic too but I do not know if that makes anything better.
I highly suggest you check out MyKey, HoJean, Still Woozy, Soft Glas, Hala, JW Francis, Johnny Utah (aka JAWNY), Yeek, Los Retros and Yot Club if you haven't already.
Contra - Vampire Weekend
Rubber Soul - The Beatles
The Lately EP - Still Woozy
Apricot Princess - Rex Orange County
Nothing Happens - Wallows
2014 Forest Hills Drive - J. Cole
And like a shit ton more but thats all I can think of right now
Still Woozy is definitely one of my biggest influences as well as The Beatles (of course), Vampire Weekend, Turnover, Omar Apollo, Cuco, Wallows and Mac DeMarco just to name a few
Like imagine you took a baby who just fell asleep after crying for 4 hours straight, mixed it with whatever home remedy your grandma used to give you to stop your headache as a kid and then add that feeling you get when you take a roadtrip to the beach with your friends and voila you just made yourself the best damn music sandwich you have ever sunk your teeth into.
I am studying to be a Graphic Designer.
