I'm an Audio Engineering student in Ne. I currently use pro tools LE and compose most tracks using midi and minimal audio. I've put down my guitar and embraced my computer as my instrument.
Guitar and Bass Guitar
Pro Tools LE, Ableton Live
Novation Remote SL
Zero 7
Pretty Lights
Perry Ferrel's Satellite Party
Mimosa
Plus too many others to name.
Perry Ferrel's Song Yet To Be Sung!!!!
Cake's Motorcade of Generosity
Lemon Jelly's KY
RHCP's By the Way
All these albums have given me moments of overwhelming clarity;)
Grew up on the classics and rock n' roll, but now I've moved on to dubstep and midi music production and synthesizers and sound shaping. My favorite groups and or producers include zero 7, perry ferrel, vibesquad, pretty lights, moe (live), and anybody who is fresh and experimental. I've recently come to dislike most of the famous composers and anyone who gets lost in the theory of music. Folk music has always been far superior to rich people music, because it has real soul, not a mathematical imitation of soul.
Feeling alive and surly on a nice day.
I've earned my living, so far, in the trenches of fairly upscale kitchens.
