This is The Brass Monkey,
I had always planned on leaving this place and now seemed a good a time as any. The size of the emptiness is unfathomable. No one here for years and years now. Just me. All alone in heaven. Actually more of a purgatory than anything else. Now, the crushing and debilatating loneliness has finally gotten to me. This planet is dying and so will I if i stay here. What's the point of dying if no one knew you were alive? What is the point of this whole thing? I set off walking, West i think toward the remains of the Great City, in search of life, technology, and a F****** answer.
