My name is Michael and I am an artist, singer, songwriter and poet from Louisville, Ky.

I sing and play the guitar proficiently but I can play a little bass, harmonica, banjo, 12 string guitar, a variety of small percussion instruments, mandolin, piano, keyboards (debatable)

Leonard Cohen, Mark Kozelek, Thom Yorke, Jesca Hoop, Laura Marling, Sonic Youth, but mainly I have been listening to my own recordings trying to work out arrangements.

It changes from week to week depending on my mood but Funcrusher Plus by Company Flow and Run The Jewels have been on heavy rotation lately.

My influences come from the entire musical spectrum but are maily rooted in Folk, Country, Punk and Rock.

Psychedelic Folk/ Country Blues. But I love to experiment and work with artists outside my typical genre.

I am also a painter and artist and I sometimes cook or do other odd jobs to help pay the bills. But I am moving into doing music full time.
