Ok, where to start? 57-year-old soul boy since the age of 12. DJing nearly as long. I have just moved with the times and have been playing Soulful House for use of a term for over 25 years. Thought it was about time I try and see what I can do production-wise. I have had a lot of ideas for a very long time now, but I have procrastinated for too long now. I have started using Ableton this year and loving it, but there's so much to learn and I'm still a little overwhelmed by what's possible. This virus has certainly allowed me plenty of time to play about and learn loads. I started out with the idea of doing some edits of old soul records exclusively for me to play out, but now I'm trying to slow myself down and walk before I run. I also help run a bi-monthly Modern Soul/Soulful House event here in Wolverhampton UK.
Traktor for DJing these days. Reaper for recording mixes and editing, I know it does a lot more, but not sure what :-). Ableton Live 10 Standard.
Shighenergy Just discovered this fantastic male gospel vocalist these past few days, so listening to that at the mo.
