Bass player making original recordings. Started on a Tascam portable studio several years ago and now use Cakewalk to lay down some groove ideas and jams. All instrumental as I don't sing! I either play all the parts or use samples and loops - mostly for the drums....Still learning about mixing and mastering.....wish me luck!
You can hear much more of my jams on soundcloud too! Search for 'Guido'.

Cakewalk by Bandlab
None.
alanna royale, the true loves, level 42, the bamboos, jtq, northern soul. The Monophonics are worth a listen.
Heavy Weather - Weather Report, Feel no fret - AWB, Absolute - jtq
all kinds of funk and soul, jazz funk and rare groove
Funky jams from the 70's and 80's probably! The Meters to The Gap Band - lo-fi acid jazz. I try not to mimic or copy the great players / bands on my tracks, instead I make tunes that represent mood and feel at the time of putting something together. Usually start off with a drum loop, add bass or keys then add other tracks.
