hello, I recently posted some music and comedy vids to my youtube channel boilism Harry Johnson, I did Taste Video, Divine Records etc in 1990s

I joined a noise band in 2005 and did a couple of gigs with them. I'm kind of a non musician in that although I jam and perform and record I'm not actually a proper musician as such. Not really. I'm up for it and I'm into it and I go for it. Maybe I ought to sort of work on my stuff. It'd probably be better if I did. At the moment my stuff is a bit rough, bit crappy.

all sorts, mostly stuff I found on the street and by the bins and in the bins. A tiny bit I bought, mostly very cheap, I used to go to auctions in the 1980s. Well, I shelled out £3k for an Amiga 2000 computer in 1989 which was the nutz for video and audio at the time, better than PC, Acorn etc. No Apple Mac in 89.

ok, that's a good question. I've several times written out lists of all the good stuff I like. Favourite? What would be the first one. Golly, that's tricky. How about a great album that I lent to someone and didn't get back, about, what, 2003, and which I got off Malc who sold it to me for a quid in 1976, and it belonged to his brother Alan who was in nick at the time, a Hendrix bootleg vinyl with lots of great stuff, most of which is hard to find elsewhere, and including his Lulu tv show when he stops and says words to the effect this is the kind of band we'd like to be in and plays Sunshine of Your Love by Cream (Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce). My no2 fave, er, bit of a toss up of Syd Barrett/Floyd, Bowie/Eno, Pistols/PIL, Zappa/Beefheart, Gary Numan, Iggy, trance techno, dub reggae etc.

I like rock pop dance art dub ambient experimental, lots of stuff. In the 1980s and 90s I videoed lots of bands, mostly in England and once in Germany, and released some of it on my own and other peeps' video labels, lots of tv, then also record labels, art, chat show, etc. Then stopped. Then some more. Filmed the WRP Workers Revolutionary Party 15 music tracks by Maggie, Billy wrote the script and directed it, about 20 actors, I did the video cameras and the edit, 2003-5. Recently I've done some more. I hosted a chat show Letter from London at Rampart London 2005, I've re edited some of that and I'll probably be releasing some of it some time. lots of good stuff happening. Cool. I'm still working on my comedy book and film script. I'll probably shoot the first 10 minutes of it soon. Etc.

Rough, rudimentary, hardcore, industrial, experimental, amateurish, weirdybollox, trippy, flipping mental, all over the gaff, pretty damn good, kind of commercial anti commercial, if I read the KLF how to have a number one his manual I'd likely be about the 5th or 6th group to do it, ie read it and then do it and have a number one, I've already been at number 21 in the charts, twice, a video in 1993 and a cd album and vinyl double lp in 1996, me with lots of other people but I did some of the main work, eg the video my video was the front runner that broke the collection through and with the dub comp in 96 I did about half of the distribution of the cd and the double lp and if I remember rightly I think I also paid for the manufacture of the double lp which cost me about, what, five or ten grand etc, blah blah blah

I'm old and battered and retired, live in London England. Sort of mostly happy and contented. Quite lazy. Don't care. Also I think I'd like to do some more stuff.
