Hi, I'm Dean and I love making digital music. I started making my own music around 2019, where I have only used samples and added 808s and bass. Then I started creating my own (not so good) samples for my own songs, but got better at doing so quickly. After that I mainly focused on Future Bass, where I made my first big step into making music you can actually listen to and very recently I finished my second very big project. I also did a couple of smaller songs, like Hip Hop and Techno, where I actually discovered my love for writing music. This is why I want to share a bit of my work in hopes of giving other people some inspiration and a head start when it comes to actually building a song. Hope you enjoy!
Guitar and Keyboard (not very well though).
FL Studio 20
Usually no hardware, only software.
So many different genres... from Destiny 2 boss music to Lil Peep, everything. I like songs that have a lot of thought going into them and details that you hear after you heard the song like 10+ times, like November Rain by Guns n' Roses or Riven's Theme from Destiny 2. And I know this sounds like a no brainer, but the song actually has to sound good. There are a couple of songs where I like everything but the mix and that destroys it for me.
Not a lot here. The Black Album from Metallica, Battles by In Flames (controversial, I know) and probably D.N.A. by Genetikk (german rapper).
A lot. Metallica actually got me into Music when I was very young and I got my first guitar at 6. I have couple of friends who are also very music interested, some of which make their own which is why I started with FL Studio in the first place. Illenium then inspired me to go into Future Bass.
Fast and emotional I'd say. Not overly sad or anything, but I think my music takes you on a journey. I like to do my own thing, even if it doesn't follow the same rules as today's music.
I work in retail, a beverage store in Germany.
