Ryan Severns (AKA Sevy), from Northeast Ohio, recently moved to Elizabethtown, KY, to lead music at a nearby church, Bethesda Ministries, and loves being a part of a great music ministry, as well as helping to teach for the children's ministry. Working with children has always been a passion in Ryan's life. In terms of music, in Ryan's eyes, there is nothing that cannot be achieved through the influence of music. Although his music has a very strong Soul and R&B influence, his love for all genres allows for listeners to get a unique flavor of music to enjoy. Many have expressed that Ryan's voice and music have a similar flavor to that of Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, and Brian McKnight, all of which who are great influences in Ryan's life as a music artist. Ryan recently showcased 3 original songs in Nashville at Rocketown in November 2008 for an event called "Band With A Mission". He also has a song called "In The New" feature on a benefit album called "Unified By Grace" produced by Quickstar Productions and plans to work with them more in the future on music projects.
Ryan enjoys singing, writing music, recording music, mixing music, arranging music (especially accapella), writing poetry, writing articles/blogs, playing drum set & singing from the drums, acting, musical theater, playing guitar and other stringed instruments, movies, being a boom operator/on-set sound mixer, producing his own music tracks, and dancing. He is currently writing more music and poetry as an expression of his heart; he is expecting to produce his first debut album very soon.

Most use all hardware currently, but I use Wavelab for some editing & mastering effects sometimes. Have used Fruity Loops, Cubase SX, Finale, and other random music programs in the past to create music.

Right now, I work at Chick-Fil-A, but I have a Bachelor's in Music Education with a Choral Emphasis, and have taught K-5 General Music for 1 1/2 years, hopefully can get back to teaching music or make a career out of making music. I also try to record other artists to make a little money here or there
