Julian Marz is a upcoming recording artist born in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Julian always had an interest in music whether in a school band playing a french horn or having a lunchtime cypher with his friends.
In Julian's eighth grade year he became inspired to begin writing down his thoughts in rhythm form.
After having different friends listen to him express his feelings in his lyrics, he came across a couple that recommended that he began recording his music.
Not having much knowledge to what he needed, he just started by downloading beats and recording himself through his computer's built in microphone. Julian released his first single "What them haters talkin' bout" in late December of 2008, instantly a favorite of the fans.
In July of 2009, Julian moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Constantly working on his music he finally released his first mixtape, "Hardkore Juju Volume 1".
Passing out free copies everywhere he went, he began making a name for himself.
His second mixtape, "I'm Listening" was not as well spread as the first, due to poor timing.
Moved back into his home state, December 1st, Julian released his third mixtape, "The Focus".
"Focus" was the peak of all Julian's music and it allowed him to prove why he was going to be next.
Julian's music is not the same "Blah blah blah blah I'm going to kill you" sound one would expect from a teen.
Julian believes that having truth and meaning in your music is what gains support around the hip-hop community.
